Jago Bangla is an Indian Bengali daily newspaper published from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This is an organ of All India Trinamool Congress. This paper is used by the party to convey its message to different parts of Bengal, specially rural Bengal. [1] [2] [3] As of 2015 [update] the newspaper had a circulation of 70,000 in West Bengal. ATN Bangla, 'ATN' being the acronym of the unused Asian Television Network, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Multimedia Production Company. It is based in the Kawran Bazar neighborhood of Dhaka. ATN Bangla is the first privately owned television channel and the first to broadcast on satellite in Bangladesh. The channel began broadcasting on 15 July 1997. ATN Bangla is broadcast in over 130 countries worldwide.

Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali-language film and television actor best known for his portrayal of the character Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical television series Gaaner Oparey that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty is also known for acting in the Bengali classic periodic thriller television series Byomkesh (2014-2015), where he played the role of iconic Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Lokkhi Kakima Superstar is a 2022 Indian Bengali Language Drama television series which is broadcast on Bengali General Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla and is also available on the digital platform ZEE5 even before TV telecast. It stars Aparajita Auddy and Debshankar Haldar in the lead roles. It also stars Sharly Modak and Souvik Banerjee in parallel lead roles. It was premiered on 14 February 2022.
The 6th Filmfare Awards Bangla ceremony, presented by The Times Group, honor the best Bengali language Indian films of 2021–2022. The ceremony was held on 10 March 2023 at the ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata. Ballabhpurer Roopkotha and Dostojee shared the award for Best Film. The Award Show was aired on 2 April 2023 on Zee Bangla. The ceremony was hosted by Anirban Bhattacharya, Srabanti Chatterjee and Ankush Hazra.

Ohidul Islam and others v. The Government of Bangladesh and others is a case of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. This writ was petitioned 3 years after Government of Bangladesh issued a circular regarding quotas for children and grandchildren of the veterans of the liberation war of 1971 amid of 2018 Bangladesh quota reform movement. Later, the trial of this case also played a role in creating the context of the 2024 quota reform movement.
