K'ayrani Quta

K'ayrani Quta (Aymara k'ayra frog, quta lake, [1] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the lake with a frog (or frogs)", also spelled Kairani Kkota) is a lake west of the Apolobamba mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality. [2]

Phaq'u Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated at a height of about 4,667 metres (15,312 ft) south of the mountain Chacaltaya, south-east of Milluni Lake and south-west of Qillwani (Khelluani).

Janqu Quta (El Alto)

Janq'u Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated south of the mountain Wayna Potosí and north-east of Milluni Lake at a height of about 4,664 metres (15,302 ft). The little lake north-east of Janq'u Quta is named Pata Quta (Pata Khota).

Phaq'u Kiwuta is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,589 m (18,337 ft) high. It is located in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountain Wila Lluxi, south-east of Warawarani and north of a lake named Quta Thiya in some maps. Other prominent mountains nearby are Jisk'a Pata and Janq'u Uyu in the north, and Wila Lluxita and Mullu Apachita in the north-east, all of them higher than 5,000 m.

Laram Quta (El Alto)

Laram Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It lies south of the mountain Chacaltaya, south-east of Milluni Lake, south-west of the Qillwani Lakes and north-west of Qillwani (Khelluani). Laram Quta is situated at a height of about 4,556 metres (14,948 ft), about 0,5 km long and 0,17 km at its widest point.

Nasa Q'ara is a 5,156-metre-high (16,916 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Nasa Q'ara is situated south-west of the mountain Chiqapa and north-east of the mountain Ch'iyar K'ark'a. It lies north of the lake Allqa Quta and south of a small lake named Khunu Quta.

Rit'i Apachita is a 5,029-metre-high (16,499 ft) mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, north-west of Pelechuco. Rit'i Apachita lies northeast of the mountain Sural (Soral) and southeast of the mountain Apachita Pura Pura.

Jach'a Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Yanacachi Municipality, north-west of the mountain Mururata. It lies south-east of the mountain Wanakuni and the lakes Warawarani and Jisk'a Warawarani at the mountain Thakis Uma. One of the smaller lakes near Jach'a Quta is named Jisk'a Quta. It is situated north-east of Jach'a Quta.

Laram Quta is a lake in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. It lies south of the mountain Mururata. Laram Quta is situated south-west of the lakes Artisa Pata (Arteza Pata) and Artisa Quta (Arteza Kkota). The lakes north-west of it are named Qillwa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta which is the small one next to Laram Quta.

Allqa Quta is a lake in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Allqa Quta lies northwest of the main peak of the Kunturiri massif. It is south of a mountain named Nasa Q'ara, north of Wawanaki and northeast of Ch'iyar K'ark'a and another mountain named Nasa Q'ara.

Ch'alla Quta is a lake in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Ch'alla Quta lies south of the mountain Larama Punta.

K'iski Quta is a lake in the Apolobamba mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality. K'iski Quta lies northwest of the mountain Jach'a Waracha.

Punta Yavre or Punta Yayre is a mountain in the northeast of the Apolobamba mountain range on the border of Bolivia and Peru. It is about 4,600 metres (15,092 ft) high. On the Bolivian side it is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, and on the Peruvian side it lies in the Puno Region, Putina Province, Sina District. Punta Yavre is situated northwest and northeast of the mountains Chawpi Urqu and Kulli Pata.

Yawa Yawa is a mountain northeast of the Apolobamba mountain range at the border of Bolivia and Peru. It is about 4,600 metres (15,092 ft) high. On the Bolivian side it is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, and on the Peruvian side it lies in the Puno Region, Putina Province, Sina District. Yawa Yawa is situated south of the mountain Ch'amakani and northeast of Punta Yawri. Yawa Yawa is also the name of a little lake near the mountain.

Wank'uchiri is a 5,382-metre-high (17,657 ft) mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, near the Peruvian border. Wank'uchiri is situated southwest of the mountain Chuquyu, northwest of K'iski Quta and southeast of Palumani and Such'i Lake. A little lake named Saywa Quta (Saihuacota) lies at its feet, south of it.

Palomani Mountain in Peru

Palomani is a mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range on the border of Bolivia and Peru. It reaches a height of about 5,723 metres (18,776 ft). On the Bolivian side it is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, and on the Peruvian side it lies in the Puno Region, Putina Province, Ananea District. It is situated north of Suches Lake. Palomani is south of Chaupi Orco, Salluyu and Jichu Qullu, near Chocñacota in the west.

Sorapata is a mountain in the north of the Apolobamba mountain range on the border of Bolivia and Peru. It is about 6,000 metres (19,685 ft) high. On the Bolivian side it is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, and on the Peruvian side it lies in the Puno Region, Putina Province, Sina District. Sorapata is situated between Locopauchenta and Cunuyo in the north and Chaupi Orco in the south. The lake Japucocha lies southwest of it.

Phisqa Quta is a mountain in the eastern extensions of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,720 m (15,490 ft). It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Phisqa Quta lies southeast of Janq'u K'ark'a and Sankayuni.

Quta K'uchu is a mountain in the La Paz Department in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,820 m (15,810 ft). It is located in the Loayza Province, in the southeast of the Malla Municipality. Quta K'uchu lies southwest of Kimsa Willk'i.
