Laguna, officially the Province of Laguna, is a province in the Philippines, located in the Calabarzon region in Luzon. Its capital is Santa Cruz and the province is situated southeast of Metro Manila, south of the province of Rizal, west of Quezon, north of Batangas and east of Cavite. The Santa Rosa Integrated Terminal, also known as the SM City Santa Rosa Transport Terminal, is a bus station in SM City Santa Rosa in Laguna in the Philippines. It is the second of three planned provincial intermodal terminals for the south of Manila under a public-private partnership arrangement. Starting June 2019, the terminal will handle province-bound and incoming buses from Calabarzon and the Bicol Region, as well as other provincial buses plying the nautical highway in the south pending the completion of, and as an alternative to, the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange.
Laguna's 1st congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Laguna, formerly La Laguna. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the western Laguna cities of San Pedro and Santa Rosa. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Danilo Fernandez of the National Unity Party (NUP).
