The legislative district of Biliran is the representation of the province of Biliran in the Congress of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress through its lone congressional district.
It was represented as part of the third district of Leyte in 1995.

The provinces of the Philippines are the primary political and administrative divisions of the Philippines. There are 81 provinces at present, further subdivided into component cities and municipalities. The local government units in the National Capital Region, as well as independent cities, are independent of any provincial government. Each province is governed by an elected legislature called the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and by an elected governor.
Leyte is an island in the Visayas group of islands in the Philippines. It is the eighth largest island in the Philippines by land area.

The legislative district of Southern Leyte is the representation of the province of Southern Leyte in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its lone congressional district, but will start to elect two representatives beginning in 2022.
Gerardo J. Espina Jr., also known as Gerry Espina, is a Filipino politician. He is currently the Representative of the lone District of Biliran, having been elected in the 2010 elections. Prior to this, he was a member of the 13th Congress of the Philippines as representative of the lone legislative district of Biliran which he served for one term from 2004-2007.
Eastern Visayas is an administrative region in the Philippines, designated as Region VIII. It consists of three main islands, Samar, Leyte and Biliran. The region has six provinces, one independent city and one highly urbanized city namely, Biliran, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Ormoc and Tacloban. The highly urbanized city of Tacloban is the sole regional center. These provinces and cities occupy the easternmost islands of the Visayas group of islands.

The Governor of Biliran is the local chief executive of the Philippine province of Biliran. The governor holds office at the Biliran Provincial Capitol located at Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran. Like all local government heads in the Philippines, the governor is elected via popular vote, and may not be elected for a fourth consecutive term. In case of death, resignation or incapacity, the vice governor becomes the governor.

The district consists of the provincial capital, Tacloban, and adjacent municipalities of Alangalang, Babatngon, Palo, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Tanauan and Tolosa. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Martin Romualdez of the Lakas–CMD (Lakas).

It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the central municipalities of Barugo, Burauen, Capoocan, Carigara, Dagami, Dulag, Jaro, Julita, La Paz, MacArthur, Mayorga, Pastrana, Tabontabon and Tunga. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Lolita T. Javier of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the old provincial capital, Leyte, and adjacent municipalities of Calubian, San Isidro, Tabango and Villaba. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Vicente Sofronio E. Veloso III of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Leyte's 4th congressional district is one of the five congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Leyte. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the city of Ormoc and adjacent municipalities of Albuera, Isabel, Kananga, Matag-ob, Merida and Palompon. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Lucy Torres Gomez of the PDP–Laban.
Southern Leyte's at-large congressional district refers to the lone congressional district of the Philippines in the province of Southern Leyte. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1961. Southern Leyte first elected a single representative provincewide at-large for the 5th Congress of the Third Philippine Republic following its creation as a regular province separate from Leyte under Republic Act No. 2227 on May 22, 1959. Before 1959, its territory was represented as part of Leyte's at-large, 2nd and 3rd districts. Between 1978 and 1984, multi-seat regional delegations were formed in lieu of provinces for the Fourth Philippine Republic parliament known as the Interim Batasang Pambansa, with Southern Leyte forming part of the ten-seat Region VIII's at-large district. It was restored as a single-member district in 1984.
