This is a list of currently existing art museums, museums of fine arts, and art galleries in Ukraine, arranged in accordance with the current administrative division of the state. [1] The list includes mainly state museums. [2] Many of these museums are at risk due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. [3]

Contents

Museums within sections by region or administration are presented in the following sequence: first, state museum institutions in the administrative center of the region. Departments or branches of the previously specified institution are marked with (**).

Articles 140–146 of Chapter XI of the constitution deal directly with local authorities and their competence.

2018 FFU Regions' Cup is the second season of the Football Federation of Ukraine renewed competition at regional level. The competition is conducted among football teams of Oblasts (regions) composed of players who compete at oblast championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ukrainian culture during the Russian invasion of Ukraine</span> Overview of Ukrainian cultural heritage during the Russian invasion

Russia began an invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. It is the largest military attack in Europe since World War II. During the fighting, many pieces of Ukrainian cultural heritage were either destroyed, damaged, or put at risk due to the widespread destruction across the country. This deliberate destruction and looting of over 500 Ukrainian cultural heritage sites is considered a war crime and has been described by Ukraine's Minister of Culture as cultural genocide.

Kuindzhi Art Museum was an art museum located in the city of Mariupol in Ukraine. It is dedicated to the display of the life and works of the artist Arkhip Kuindzhi, who was born in the city. The museum opened on 30 October 2010, but its creation was proposed almost a century earlier.

The Mariupol Museum of Local Lore is a museum of regional history in the city of Mariupol, Ukraine, at 20 Georgievskaya Street. The museum describes the natural conditions of the southern part of the Donetsk region and the history of the region from ancient times to the present. Its main activities of the museum are: Collection, exposition, research, scientific education and library. It was destroyed in 2022 during the Siege of Mariupol.
