List of development aid agencies

This is a list of development aid agencies which provide regional and international development aid or assistance, divided between national (mainly OECD countries) and international organizations. Agencies of multiple development cooperation partners from countries like Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden and the United States are included. However, agencies of numerous development cooperation partners from emerging countries such as India, Malaysia, Middle Eastern countries, Pakistan, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey and so on are not included.[ citation needed ]

Many countries that send assistance do not receive the assistance, such as Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United States. Some countries that receive assistance also send the assistance in some cases, such as Algeria, Egypt, India, Malaysia, Morocco, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey. Iran and Pakistan rarely send assistance, even though they receive the assistance.[ citation needed ]
