The Republic of Albania has diplomatic missions in 43 countries and 6 permanent missions accredited to various different international organizations around the world. Most of its missions are concentrated in Europe, particularly in Central Europe and the Balkans, with which the country shares historic and cultural links.
Honorary consulates are excluded from this listing.
After the 2013 elections, Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati announced that the government would close a part of their diplomatic missions due to an economic crisis. Consequently the embassies in Kuala Lumpur, Lisbon, Sarajevo, and New Delhi were closed. [1] [2]
In 2024, the Foreign Ministry announced plans of opening embassies in Jakarta and Nairobi, as well as reopening the embassy in New Delhi. [3]

Panama's foreign relations are conventional in outlook, with Panama being especially aligned with United States since the 1989 US invasion to topple the regime of General Manuel Noriega. The United States cooperates with the Panamanian government in promoting economic, political, security, and social development through U.S. and international agencies.
Since Slovenia declared independence in 1991, its Governments have underscored their commitment to improving cooperation with neighbouring countries and actively contributing to international efforts aimed at bringing stability to Southeast Europe. Resource limitations have nevertheless been a problem hindering the efficiency of the Slovenian diplomacy. In the 1990s, foreign relations, especially with Italy, Austria and Croatia, triggered internal political controversies. In the last eight years, however, a wide consensus has been reached among the vast majority of Slovenian political parties to jointly work in the improvement of the country's diplomatic infrastructure and to avoid politicizing the foreign relations by turning them into an issue of internal political debates.
Kosovo–North Macedonia relations are diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia.
The foreign relations between Albania and Croatia are bound together by shared history, neighboring geography and common political ideologies. Both states established diplomatic relations in 1992, following the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the independence of Croatia. They have historically shared a special relationship due to their convergent nation-building efforts. Modern relations are warm and friendly.
The Embassy of Kosovo in Ottawa is the official diplomatic mission of the Kosovo in Canada. The embassy is located at 470 Somerset Street West, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 5J8. Kosovo also maintains a consulate in Toronto.
Albania had an embassy in Lisbon. Portugal has an honorary consulate in Tirana. The history of diplomatic relations of Albania and Portugal dates back to 1922, when Portugal recognized Albania's independence on May 25, 1922.
