Poland makes use of its state flag with coat of arms to designate Polish missions abroad. This flag is, according to legislation, to be used only by the Polish government and its associated agencies and diplomatic service. Additionally the flag is used as an ensign by Polish-registered ships on the high seas. Finally, the traditional governmental plaque is also affixed to all Polish missions abroad.

The Republic of Poland is a Central European country and member of the European Union and NATO, among others. Poland wields considerable influence in Central and Eastern Europe and is a middle power in international affairs. The Embassy of Poland in Manila is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of the Philippines. The embassy was opened on 4 January 2018, although a previous embassy was also established in the early 1990s.
Marek Ziółkowski is a Polish diplomat, ambassador of Poland to Ukraine (2001–2005), Kenya (2012–2015), and NATO (2017–2019).
Krzysztof Buzalski is a Polish diplomat in the rank of Minister-Counsellor specializing in relations with Sub-Saharan Africa countries, Poland ambassador to Tanzania (2017–2024).
Poland–Tanzania relations are the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Poland and the United Republic of Tanzania. Both nations are members of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization.
