The list of railway routes in Bavaria contains all scheduled rail passenger routes in Bavaria. In addition, the cycle interval, the rolling stock used and the operators are listed.
With the timetable change on 13 December 2020, Bayerische Eisenbahngesellschaft (BEG), the purchaser of Bavarian regional rail services, introduced line numbers in Bavaria. [1] [2] The table reflects the status from the timetable change on 11 December 2022.

Transdev Germany is the largest private operator of passenger buses and trains in Germany. It is a subsidiary of Transdev.
Die Länderbahn GmbH (DLB), formerly Vogtlandbahn GmbH, is a German rail transport company based in Viechtach, operating transport services originally only in the Vogtland, but now also on a regional basis. Die Länderbahn is a subsidiary of Regentalbahn AG, which is owned by Ferrovie dello Stato subsidiary Netinera. The term vogtlandbahn remains in use as a trademark of Die Länderbahn in Vogtland.
Südostbayernbahn is one of several regional railway networks in Germany owned by Germany's national railway, Deutsche Bahn AG. Since 2001, the network has included the railway hub of Mühldorf which connects 7 major railway lines from Munich, Rosenheim, Freilassing, Burghausen, Simbach am Inn, Passau and Landshut, forming a star-shaped network of lines called Linienstern Mühldorf. The Münchberg–Selbitz railway is a branch line in Bavaria in southern Germany. It runs from Münchberg via Helmbrechts to Selbitz. The Helmbrechts–Selbitz section has been since closed and dismantled. Passenger trains still run today between Münchberg and Helmbrechts.

The Nördlingen–Pleinfeld railway is a railway line in Bavaria, Germany that was originally built and operated as part of the Ludwig South-North Railway. It runs in southern Middle Franconia and in northern Swabia from ‹See TfM›Nördlingen via ‹See TfM›Gunzenhausen to ‹See TfM›Pleinfeld and opens up the southern Franconian Lake District, the Hesselberg region and parts of the Nördlinger Ries.

It runs through the Allgäu from Buchloe to Lindau in Lake Constance via Kaufbeuren and Kempten. Together with the connecting Munich–Buchloe railway it is known in German as the Bayerische Allgäubahn.

The Munich–Buchloe railway is a double-track, electrified main line in Bavaria, Germany. The 60 kilometre-long line runs from ‹See TfM›Munich Pasing via ‹See TfM›Geltendorf and ‹See TfM›Kaufering to ‹See TfM›Buchloe. Together with the Buchloe–Kempten–Lindau line, it is known as the Allgäubahn. The line is owned and maintained by DB Netz.
