Llangelynin station was a single-platform halt on the Cambrian Line, which served the small village of Llangelynin in Gwynedd, Wales. It was opened in 1930 by the Great Western Railway and was known as Llangelynin Halt.
It was closed by British Rail in 1991; [1] all stations had to be lit at night on safety grounds and it was deemed not worth the upgrade. [2] Train services were officially "suspend[ed] ... until further notice" with effect from 18 November 1991; the "unsafe condition of the platform" was given as the reason. [3] The line is still open, but trains no longer call at the station.
Bristol Parkway, on the South Wales Main Line, serves the villages of Stoke Gifford and Harry Stoke in South Gloucestershire, England. Despite its name, it is located in Gloucestershire rather than Bristol itself. It is 112 miles (180 km) from London Paddington. The station was opened in 1972 by British Rail and rebuilt in 2001. It is the third-most heavily used station in the West of England combined authority area, after Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa. There are four platforms, and a well-equipped waiting area. The station is managed by Great Western Railway, who provide most of the trains at the station, with CrossCountry providing the rest.
Marylebone station is a Central London railway terminus and connected London Underground station in the Marylebone area of the City of Westminster. On the National Rail network, it is also known as London Marylebone and is the southern terminus of the Chiltern Main Line to Birmingham. Cefn Onn Halt railway station was a halt on the Rhymney Line between Cardiff and Rhymney, Wales opened in 1915. It closed on 27 September 1986 and was replaced by Lisvane and Thornhill, a short distance to the south. The station is close to the entrance of Caerphilly Tunnel, which resulted in trains overshooting the platform and having to reverse.
There are 22 disused railway stations on the Bristol to Exeter line between Bristol Temple Meads and Exeter St Davids. The line was completed in 1844 at which time the temporary terminus at Beambridge was closed. The most recent closure was Tiverton Junction which was replaced by a new station} on a different site in 1986. 12 of the disused stations have structures that can still be seen from passing trains.

The Acton–Northolt line (ANL), otherwise known as the New North Main Line (NNML), is a railway line in West London, England. Built between 1903 and 1906, it runs from the Great Western Main Line at Old Oak Common TMD to the Chiltern Main Line at South Ruislip, alongside the West Ruislip branch of the London Underground Central line, for a distance of around 11 miles (18 km).

Carno is a closed railway station in Carno, on the Cambrian Line, that was part of the Newtown and Machynlleth Railway. The station was closed in 1965 as part of the Beeching Cuts though there are proposals to re-open it.
