Mossville is an unincorporated community between Peoria and Chillicothe in Peoria County, Illinois, United States. Mossville is part of the Peoria, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area and resides closely to the northern part of Peoria. Centered on the Illinois River valley and the end of Illinois Route 6 at Illinois Route 29, Mossville informally encompasses a number of different neighborhoods along the valley: Renchville, Brookview, a cluster of houses along the Illinois River referred to as "The Lanes", and Cedar Hills Estates, as well as the unincorporated village of 900 that can be considered Mossville proper. The Lake of the Woods subdivision, as well as Colony Point, both on the west bluff of the Illinois River valley overlooking Mossville, can also be considered to be part of the greater Mossville area. It was previously served by the Rock Island Line at Mossville Station.
The Lake Charles metropolitan statistical area is a metropolitan area in the Acadiana region of southwest Louisiana that covers two parishes - Calcasieu and Cameron. According to a 2019 census estimate, the MSA had a population of 210,409. It is also part of the larger Lake Charles-Jennings Combined Statistical Area which had a population of 241,777 in 2019. The Lake Charles MSA also shares borders with the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area to the west. Metropolitan Lake Charles, the principal city, is commonly referred to as the Lake Area.

Maple Run is a tributary of Kitchen Creek in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 5.2 miles (8.4 km) long and flows through Fairmount Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of 4.17 square miles (10.8 km2). There are several unnamed tributaries, but no named tributaries. Part of the stream is considered to be Class A Wild Trout Waters for brook trout, which inhabit the entire stream. Alluvium and glacial till can be found near it, as can bedrock made of sandstone and shale. There are at least two bridges crossing the stream and a sawmill was built on it in the early 1800s.
Wasp Branch is a tributary of Pine Creek in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 1.7 miles (2.7 km) long and flows through Fairmount Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of 0.90 square miles (2.3 km2). The stream is considered to be Class A Wild Trout Waters, a Coldwater Fishery, and a Migratory Fishery. Glacial till and bedrock consisting of stone and shale can be found in the stream's vicinity.
