Palitha Range Bandara (born September 8,1962) [2] is a Sri Lankan politician,retired police officer and current General Secretary of the United National Party.He is also the former State Minister of Irrigation and Water Resource Management and a former member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka from Anamaduwa.
Bandara claimed political victimization forced him to retire and the National Police Commission recommended that he be promoted to the grade of Assistant Superintendent of Police from his retirement grade of sub-inspector in December 2017. [3]
Rathnayaka Mudiyanselage Ranjith Madduma Bandara is a Sri Lankan politician and a member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. He served as Minister of Law and Order and Minister of Public Administration and Management from March 2018 to November 2019. He has also acted as the Minister of Transport.

Puttalam electoral district is one of the 22 multi-member electoral districts of Sri Lanka created by the 1978 Constitution of Sri Lanka.
