Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group is one of the major automatic transmission manufacturers in China. It was founded in 1968, and formed a joint venture with Eaton Corporation. It is now the largest automatic transmission manufacturer in China.[ citation needed ]

Automatic Drive was the trade name for Studebaker Corporation's first automatic transmission, designed in conjunction with Borg-Warner's Detroit Gear division. A direct-shift gearbox, commonly abbreviated to DSG, is an electronically-controlled, dual-clutch, multiple-shaft, automatic gearbox, in either a transaxle or traditional transmission layout, with automated clutch operation, and with fully-automatic or semi-manual gear selection. The first dual-clutch transmissions were derived from Porsche in-house development for the Porsche 962 in the 1980s.
A sprag clutch is a one-way freewheel clutch. It resembles a roller bearing but, instead of cylindrical rollers, non-revolving asymmetric figure-eight shaped sprags, or other elements allowing single direction rotation, are used. When the unit rotates in one direction the rollers slip or free-wheel, but when a torque is applied in the opposite direction, the sprags tilt slightly, producing a wedging action and binding because of friction. The sprags are spring-loaded on their pivots to ensure that they lock with very little backlash once drive is engaged.

The Audi Avantissimo was a concept car by the German automobile manufacturer Audi. The car debuted at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Dodge Journey is a mid-size crossover SUV which was manufactured and marketed by FCA's Dodge brand from model year 2009 to 2020, with a facelift for the 2011 model year. It was slotted below the larger Dodge Durango. With styling by Ryan Nagode, the Journey is marketed globally in both left and right hand drive. In many markets, the crossover has been marketed as the Fiat Freemont.

MG Motor UK Limited is a British automotive company headquartered in London, United Kingdom, and a subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK, which in turn is owned by the Shanghai-based Chinese state-owned automotive SAIC Motor. MG Motor designs, develops and markets cars sold under the MG marque while vehicle manufacturing takes place at its factories in China and Thailand. MG Motor is the largest importer of Chinese made cars into the United Kingdom. The marque returned to competitive motorsport in 2012, and won the 2014 British Touring Car Manufacturers Championship.
A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is a type of multi-speed vehicle transmission system, that uses two separate clutches for odd and even gear sets. The design is often similar to two separate manual transmissions with their respective clutches contained within one housing, and working as one unit. In car and truck applications, the DCT functions as an automatic transmission, requiring no driver input to change gears.
The Haval H5, also known as the Great Wall Haval H5 and Hover H5, is a compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by the Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors from June 2010 to 2020. BeiBen Truck is a heavy-truck manufacturer based in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China. BeiBen,, is part of the North industries Group Corporation (NORINCO). It was founded in 1988 when BeiBen signed an agreement with Daimler-Benz to manufacture Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Mercedes was to deliver CKD kits for assembly by BeiBen, and within a few years, the trucks would contain 90% domestic parts. By 2010, BeiBen was building 40,000 trucks a year.
The Datsun on-Do is a subcompact car manufactured specifically for the Russian market under the Datsun brand of Nissan Motor Company. It is a rebadged and restyled version of the AutoVAZ-developed Lada Granta and it also has its own VAZ-index number, 2195. The on-Do was launched in Russia on 4 April 2014, and AutoVAZ started serial manufacturing of the car on 14 July 2014. The word "Do" is related to a Japanese traditional culture that can be translated into "move", while "on" indicates an adjective or verb. When "Datsun" is added, it means a desire to open up access to mobility and freedom of movement for all.

The Škoda Karoq is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) designed and built by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto. Introduced in 2017, the vehicle is based on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform, and replaced the Škoda Yeti. The car slots between the smaller Škoda Kamiq and the larger Škoda Kodiaq.
The F48 BMW X1 is the second and current generation of the BMW X1 range of subcompact luxury crossover SUV. The F48 X1 was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, and later at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The Volkswagen Taos is a compact crossover SUV produced by the German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen. It was first released in October 2018 as the Volkswagen Tharu in China, while a restyled version of the Tharu emerged as the Taos in October 2020 for the North American and South American markets. The vehicle is positioned above the T-Cross, and below the long-wheelbase Tiguan, sharing the position with the T-Roc and the short-wheelbase Tiguan.
