TMA Bucks is a member-supported nonprofit organization and advocacy group that oversees transportation needs in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bristol is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Center City Philadelphia, opposite Burlington, New Jersey on the Delaware River. Bristol Borough predates Philadelphia, being settled in 1681 and first incorporated in 1720. After 1834, the town became very important to the development of the American Industrial Revolution as the terminus city of the Delaware Canal providing greater Philadelphia with the days High Tech Anthracite fuels from the Lehigh Canal via Easton. The canal and a short trip on the Delaware also gave the town access to the mineral resources available in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York via each of the Morris Canal, the Delaware and Hudson Canal, and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and connected the community to those markets and trade from New York City. These were among the factors spurring development of Bristol and nearby towns, explaining in part the industries which developed in the region.

Warminster station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Warminster, Pennsylvania. It serves as the North end of the Warminster Line. The station is occasionally served by passenger trains operated by the New Hope Railroad, which has an interchange just north of the station with Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad. Original electrification from Hatboro was extended to Warminster on July 29, 1974, replacing the former Reading Company Bonair and Johnsville stations. This station is wheelchair ADA accessible.

DART First State provides local and inter-county bus service throughout the state and also subsidizes commuter rail service along SEPTA Regional Rail's Wilmington/Newark Line serving the northern part of the state. Pennsylvania Route 332 (PA 332) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route runs 17.5 miles (28.2 km) from PA 263 in Hatboro, Montgomery County east to PA 32 in Yardley, Bucks County. PA 332 runs through suburban areas to the north of Philadelphia, serving Warminster, Ivyland, Richboro, and Newtown. The route is two lanes wide most of its length, with the bypass around Newtown a four-lane divided highway. PA 332 intersects PA 132 in Warminster, PA 232 in Richboro, PA 413 and PA 532 in Newtown, and Interstate 295 (I-295) in Lower Makefield Township.
The Warminster Line is a route of the SEPTA Regional Rail commuter rail system. It serves stations between its namesake town, Warminster, and Center City, Philadelphia. Half of the route is shared by other lines, including the Lansdale/Doylestown Line, West Trenton Line, Fox Chase Line, Chestnut Hill East Line, and Manayunk/Norristown Line. The great majority of trains continue as part of the Airport Line.
The Fox Chase Line is a route of the SEPTA Regional Rail system. The Fox Chase Line branches from the SEPTA Main Line at Newtown Junction, north of the Wayne Junction station. It runs entirely within the city of Philadelphia. The line is fully grade-separated, except for one grade crossing on Oxford Avenue. Under the Reading Company service continued north to Newtown, but this ended in January 1983. Various proposals to resume this service have failed, and the line within Montgomery County has been gradually converting into a rail trail from 2008 onward, ending any chance of resumed passenger service on the abandoned section of line for the foreseeable future.
The Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad is a short-line railroad operating on trackage mostly in Bucks and Montgomery counties to the north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was created in 2011, taking over former operations from CSX Transportation. The Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad interchanges with CSX in Lansdale, the East Penn Railroad in Telford, and the New Hope Railroad in Warminster.

Cecil Transit is a public transit agency providing bus service in Cecil County in the US state of Maryland. The agency, which is owned by Cecil County, operates fixed-route bus service along five routes serving the Cecil County towns of Elkton, North East, and Perryville along with service to Glasgow and Newark in Delaware. Buck County Transport (BCT) is a private, non-profit organization that operates transportation services in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. BCT is headquartered in Holicong, Pennsylvania, and operates bus services throughout Bucks County. The organization currently operates a shared ride program, two DART bus lines, and provides discounted transportation for participants of the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) and for disabled persons. In addition, Bucks County Transport operates TMA Bucks' Rushbus services.
