Tim Brown (born July 6, 1971) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the now defunct NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.

Contents

Brown is a long-time competitor at Bowman Gray Stadium, having won 94 races in the modified division, which is the most of all time as of 2024. [1]

Brown has previously competed in series such as the SMART Modified Tour, the Southern Modified Racing Series, and the Southern Modified Race Tour. [2]

The 2012 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was the 28th season of the Whelen Modified Tour (WMT). It began with the Icebreaker 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 15. It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 14. Ron Silk entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Doug Coby won the 2012 championship after 14 races, 11 points ahead of Ryan Preece.
