Tuborg Image Awards

The Tuborg Stage Image Awards is a televised annual music award presentation in Nepal. The event was first held in 1999. [1] [2] Tuborg Brewery sponsors the awards. The most recent programme included twenty-one different awards. [3] While the 22nd Tuborg Image Award Program was observed in September 2022 in Hotel Soltey awarding lifetime achievement to Madam Krishna Shrestha. Likewise, 15 artists from all over Nepal including lyricist Ramesh Dahal, Karma Gyaljen Bamjan, Shawroopraj Acharya, Samichhya Adhikari, and others were awarded. [4]

Kantipur's publishers report that the circulation of this newspaper is just above 453,000 copies per day. It is regarded as the most widely read newspaper in Nepal; according to an audience survey in 2016, over half of those who read newspapers in Nepal were readers of Kantipur, considerably more than any other newspapers. The newspaper is also a source of information of homeland for Nepali diaspora.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Nepal is a Hindu right-wing, cultural conservative party. It previously existed as royalist political party in Nepal from 2006 to 2016. The party was formed as a splinter of Rastriya Prajatantra Party in 2006 and was later reunified in 2016. The party was reformed in 2022 by Kamal Thapa.

Cobweb is a hard rock band from Patan, Nepal. The band was formed in 1993 by a group of school friends in Patan by releasing their first album "Anjaan". The first album was not a success. The second album Cobweb was received well with the songs like "Maryo ni Maryo" which shaped a way for Nepalese rock in the mainstream. The band is considered a trend setter in modern Nepalese music industry.

The Nepal T20 League is a Nepalese men's Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Cricket Association of Nepal in 2022. The first edition of the tournament was held from 24 December 2022 to 11 January 2023.

<i>Bagh Ko Bangara</i> 2022 Nepali documentary film

Bagh Ko Bangara is a 2022 Nepali documentary film directed by Kamal Kumar. It was premiered in 2022 Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF). It was also awarded with KIMFF Audience Award in the same event. It was made by Herne Katha team, they made this short documentary film while they were looking for the story for upcoming episodes of Herne Katha. It is the story about people in rural Nepal and the struggle of honey hunter and their journey to get honey.
