Turismo Nacional, often referred to as Turismo Nacional BR, is a touring car racing series based in Brazil which is promoted by Vicar. [1] The series uses modified production cars from the Brazilian market. [2] Turismo Nacional was created in 2017 [3] and has been promoted by Vicar since 2021. [1] The championship consists of six distinct classes: A, B, Super, PRO, Elite, and Senior. [4] [5] The series is composed of six overall rounds which are subdivided into four 20-minute races. [5] [6]

Engine

Cars in Turismo Nacional are powered by a 2000cc (2L) Inline 4. [8] The engine is powered by ethanol. [6]

Transmission

The transmission used in the cars is a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox which is manufactured by Vicar's Stock Tech. [8]

The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Autódromo de Interlagos or simply Interlagos, is a 4.309 km (2.677 mi) motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener of the São Paulo province, Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985, the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. The circuit runs counterclockwise.

Stock Car Pro Series, formerly known as Stock Car Brasil, is a touring car auto racing series based in Brazil organized by Vicar. It is considered the major Brazilian and South American motorsports series. Starting in 1979 with Chevrolet as the only constructor, the series has also seen other constructors joining in and leaving such as Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Volkswagen, currently the only other besides Chevrolet is Toyota. The series is composed of 12 rounds, with the most important race, the Corrida do Milhão being worth double points and has a prize pool of R$1 million. The competition has seen many internationally famous drivers in its ranks, such as Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa, Jacques Villeneuve, Lucas di Grassi, Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta, Tony Kanaan and António Félix da Costa.

Autódromo Brasília BRB is a racing circuit in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. It is 5.476 km (3.403 mi) in length that hosted a variety of national-level series including Stock Car Brasil, Formula Truck and Formula 3 Brasil. The track was initially opened in 1974, and hosted non-championship rounds for both Formula One and the BPR Global GT Series, and in recent years was scheduled to host both MotoGP and IndyCar, but due to costs and construction delays, neither event went ahead. Previously named Autódromo Emilio Medici and Autódromo de Brasília, the circuit's name was later changed to honor Formula 1 World Champion Nelson Piquet. Following the transfer of ownership from Terracap to Banco de Brasília (BRB), the track is currently named Autódromo Brasília BRB. The track, which has been closed since 2014, is undergoing renovations that started in 2022 and are set to be completed at the end of 2023.

The team currently competes in the Stock Car Pro Series and Império Endurance Brasil. RC Competições has won the driver's championship of Stock Car Brasil Championship 9 times, with the most recent being achieved in 2020 by Ricardo Maurício. RC Competições is the most successful team in Stock Car Brasil, being champion 9 times: in 2004 with Giuliano Losacco, 2006 and 2007 with Cacá Bueno, 2010 with Max Wilson, 2013 and 2020 with Ricardo Maurício and 2017, 2018 and 2019 with Daniel Serra.

The 2022 Stock Car Pro Series was the forty-fourth season of the Brazilian car racing series previously called Stock Car Brasil. It marked the return of Corrida de Duplas and the first race in an airport in stock car history. The season started on February 13 and ended on December 11 with the Super Final BRB, both at Interlagos Circuit.

Gabriel Casagrande is a Brazilian racing driver. He competes full-time in the Stock Car Pro Series, driving the No. 83 Chevrolet Cruze for A. Mattheis Vogel Motorsport. He is a two-time champion of the Stock Car Pro Series, having won this title in 2021 and 2023. He also competes in the NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race, where he won the Special Edition ProAM championship in 2023.

Miss Brazil World 2008 was the 19th edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 3rd under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on July 26, 2008. Ten contestants, that competed in both 2006 and 2007 editions were selected to compete in this years contest. Regiane Andrade of Santa Catarina crowned Tamara Almeida of Minas Gerais at the end of the contest. Almeida represented Brazil at Miss World 2008. The contest was held at the Eco Resort in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 2023 Stock Car Pro Series was the 45th season of the Stock Car Pro Series, the premier touring car racing series in South America, and the second season under the Stock Car Pro Series moniker. The season started at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna on April 2. The final race of the season was held at Interlagos on December 17. The championship was won by Gabriel Casagrande.

The 2023 F4 Brazilian Championship was the second season of the F4 Brazilian Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Tatuus F4-T421 chassis.

Enzo Weisheimer Elias is a Brazilian racing driver currently competing in Stock Car Brasil for Crown Racing. He is a two-time overall champion of the Porsche Cup Brasil and five-time champion across different classes.

The 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro de Copa Truck is the fifth season of the Copa Truck.

The 2024 Stock Car Pro Series will be the 46th season of the Stock Car Pro Series, the premier touring car racing series in South America, and the third season under the Stock Car Pro Series moniker. Gabriel Casagrande is the defending champion. The championship is scheduled to start in Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna, Goiânia and is set to finish at Interlagos Circuit, São Paulo.
