The World Vengeance Tour was a 1982 concert tour by English heavy metal band Judas Priest where they toured throughout North America from 26 August 1982 until 21 February 1983 in support of the 1982 album Screaming for Vengeance.
The 12 December 1982 show was filmed and released on multiple video formats; first released on VHS, Beta, VHD and LaserDisc as Judas Priest Live in 1983; as Disc 5 as a DVD on the Metalogy compilation box-set in 2004; and as a separate DVD package entitled Live Vengeance '82 in 2006.
Even though the last United States leg of the tour ended in Honolulu on 21 February 1983, the band would perform their last show of the tour at the 1983 US Festival in San Bernardino, California on 29 May 1983 alongside Quiet Riot, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Triumph, the Scorpions, and Van Halen. Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million albums and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Despite an innovative and pioneering body of work in the latter half of the 1970s, the band struggled with indifferent record production and a lack of major commercial success until 1980, when the album British Steel brought them notable mainstream attention.
Defenders of the Faith is the ninth studio album by English heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 13 January 1984 in the US and on 20 January 1984 in the UK. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA, and spawned the singles "Freewheel Burning", "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll", and "Love Bites".

In May 2006, VH1 ranked it fifth on their list of the 40 Greatest Metal Songs. It became one of Judas Priest's signature songs along with "Breaking the Law", "Painkiller", ''Living After Midnight", "Electric Eyes" and "Turbo Lover" in addition to being a staple of the band's live performances. "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" was first performed on the opening concert of the Vengeance World Tour at the Stabler Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on 26 August 1982 and had been played a total of 673 times through the 2012 Epitaph Tour.
Live Vengeance '82 is a live DVD and UMD of a Judas Priest concert recorded on 12 December 1982, at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee. It was released on 4 April 2006 in both an Amaray case and a limited edition digipak. The first release on DVD had been in 2004 as Disc 5 of the Metalogy compilation box-set, which came in a simple card-sleeve.

The Mercenaries of Metal Tour was a 1988 concert tour by English heavy metal band Judas Priest, in support of their most recent release, Ram It Down. Unlike their other tours of the 1980s, no official Judas Priest release includes any live recordings from this tour. It was the final tour the band did with longtime drummer Dave Holland. The week before the tour started, the band visited Stockholm, Sweden for full production rehearsals at Hovet. Before the official tour start, the band played a few warm-up shows including one in a club in Amsterdam, Netherlands in early April 1988, where the footage for the Johnny B. Goode video was shot. On 24 September 1988, just before the band was about to perform a show in Dallas, Texas, they were greeted backstage by the sheriff with a subpoena, leading to the infamous subliminal message trial in the summer of 1990.

The Reunited Tour was a 2004 concert tour by English heavy metal band Judas Priest. It ran from 2 June 2004 until 2 September 2004. This tour celebrated the return of Rob Halford since his departure in 1992, replacing vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens. The band also began performing in E♭ tuning during this tour, which would since be their primary sound.

The Wörld Is Yours Tour was a tour performed by the heavy metal band Motörhead in support of their album, The Wörld Is Yours. During the tour Motorhead took part in opening for the Foo Fighters and Judas Priest, during their Wasting Light Tour and Epitaph World Tour respectively. During the tour, the band would take part Gigantour, the heavy metal music festival organized by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine.
