Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as Circuit de Valencia and officially named Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo, is a 4.005 km (2.489 mi) motorsport race track located in Cheste and built in 1999. The track is named after Spanish, two-time world champion Grand Prix motorcycle racer Ricardo Tormo (1952–1998), who died in 1998 of leukemia. The Misano World Circuit is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Originally designed in 1969 as a length of 3.488 km (2.167 mi), it hosted its first event in 1972. In 1993, the track length was increased to 4.064 km (2.525 mi).

The 2004 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the second championship year of Europe's premier Formula Three series. The championship consisted of ten rounds – each with two races – held at a variety of European circuits. Each weekend consisted of 1 hour and 30 minutes of free practice on Friday – in either one or two sessions – and two 30-minute qualifying sessions. This was followed by a c.110 km race on Saturday and a c.80 km race on Sunday. Each qualifying session awarded one bonus point for pole position and each race awarded points for the top eight finishers, with ten points per win.

Autodromo Riccardo Paletti is a race track for motorsports near Varano in the Province of Parma, Italy. The track began as a small 550 m (0.34 mi) oval in 1969, and this was then expanded to a full 1.800 km (1.118 mi), 11 turn race track. This new layout was inaugurated officially on 26 March 1972. The track is named after Formula One driver Riccardo Paletti (1958–1982), who was killed at the 1982 Canadian Grand Prix.

Jenzer Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Switzerland. The 2001 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup season was the eleventh Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season began at Monza Circuit on 30 March and finished at the Circuito do Estoril on 4 November, after ten races. RC Motorsport driver Augusto Farfus claimed the championship title, taking four victories at Monza, Brno, Magny-Cours and Hungaroring. Marc Benz won one race at Nürburgring. César Campaniço who missed Zolder and Spielberg rounds finished season on third place. Fourth-placed Ryan Briscoe scored two wins at the end of the season on Iberian circuits Jarama and Estoril. Other wins were scored by Bruno Spengler, Ronnie Quintarelli and Eric Salignon.

The 2010 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season was the 20th Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. It began on 17 April at Motorland Aragon and ended on 10 October at Circuit de Catalunya after eight rounds and sixteen races.

The season features seven double-header rounds, with each race lasting for a duration of 30 minutes. All races were part of the World Series by Renault.

The 2009 Formula Renault 2.0 Italia season was the tenth season of the Formula Renault 2.0 Italia and the last as one of the prominent Formula Renault series. Though the Italian series effectively merged with the Formula Renault 2.0 Suisse to form the Formula Renault 2.0 Middle European Championship from 2010, the Italia series would continue with older cars for three more seasons.

2005 Formula Renault 2.0 Italia was the sixth season of the Italian Formula Renault Championship and the first under the name "Formula Renault 2.0 Italy." Most races were in Italy with one race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). Kamui Kobayashi, who went on to drive in Formula One, won the competition. Jenzer Motorsport won the team competition.

The 2000 Formula Renault 2000 Italia season was the inaugural season of the Formula Renault 2000 Italia championship. It was won by Felipe Massa driving for Cram Competition. He had scored the same amount of points as Raffaele Giammaria but was given the title on account of having more wins.

The 2002 Formula Renault 2000 Italia season was the third season of the Formula Renault 2000 Italia championship. It was won by José María López driving for Cram Competition. He and main rival Robert Kubica of RC Motorsport, both took four wins each.
