The district elects seven members to Derry and Strabane District Council and contains the wards of Caw, Clondermot, Drumahoe, Ebrington, Kilfennan, Lisnagelvin and Victoria. Waterside forms part of the Foyle constituencies for the Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament.
