The 2011 Brentwood Borough Council election took place on 5 May 2011 to elect members of Brentwood District Council in Essex, England as part of the 2011 United Kingdom local elections. One third of the council was up for election and no elections were held in Hutton Central, Hutton South or South Weald in 2011. [1] [2]

Eric Jack Pickles, Baron Pickles, is a British Conservative Party politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Brentwood and Ongar from 1992 to 2017. He served in David Cameron's Cabinet as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government from 2010 to 2015. He previously served as Chairman of the Conservative Party from 2009 to 2010 and was later the United Kingdom Anti-Corruption Champion from 2015 to 2017.

Brentwood town centre lies 3 miles to the west. The area can be split between modest housing estates and the largely affluent Hutton Mount. There are two wards named "Hutton". Hutton was formerly a civil parish, which was abolished in 1934 and absorbed into Brentwood.
