The 2012 F2000 Championship Series season marked the seventh season of competition in the series. It consisted of 14 rounds (seven double-race weekends), beginning April 12 at Virginia International Raceway and concluding October 14 at Watkins Glen International. [1]

Venezuelan Roberto La Rocca of HP-Tech won 11 of the 14 races and finished on the podium in 13 of the 14. American Wyatt Gooden, who got his start through winning online video racing tournaments, finished second in points with two wins. American Niki Coello won one race and finished third. Kevin Kopp finished fourth in points and Tim Minor finished fifth, while claiming his second consecutive and third overall Masters Championship title.

Jérôme d'Ambrosio is a Belgian Formula E racing driver for the Indian team Mahindra Racing. He has previously drove for Marussia Virgin Racing during the 2011 Formula One World Championship. The 2011 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the ninth championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. It began on 2 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 23 October at Hockenheim after 21 races at nine meetings.

The 2012 Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series season is the 62nd British Formula 3 International Series season. The series, promoted by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation, began on 6 April at Oulton Park and ended on 30 September at Donington Park after 29 races held at ten meetings.

Antonio Giovinazzi Italian racing driver

Antonio Giovinazzi is an Italian racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Alfa Romeo Racing. He was the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship runner-up and raced with Prema in the 2016 International GP2 Series, again finishing runner-up with five wins and eight overall podiums. Giovinazzi was chosen by Scuderia Ferrari to be their third and reserve driver for the 2017 season. He made his competitive debut for Sauber at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, replacing the injured Pascal Wehrlein. He also replaced Wehrlein at the following Chinese Grand Prix as Wehrlein continued his recovery. Giovinazzi signed a contract to race full-time for Alfa Romeo Racing in 2019.

Juan Manuel López, also known as Cochito Lopez is an Argentinian racing driver. He competed in the TC2000 series between 2001 and 2003 ; he also finished eleventh in both the 2005 and the 2006 Top Race V6 championships.

2017 Formula 2 Championship

The 2017 Formula 2 Championship was the fifty-first season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also the first season under the moniker of FIA Formula 2 Championship, a motor racing championship run in support of the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship. The championship is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and is open to teams and drivers competing in cars complying with Formula 2 regulations.
