425 Fifth Avenue is a 618-foot (188-meter) residential skyscraper at 38th Street and Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was developed by RFR Davis [2] and designed by Michael Graves. It has 55 floors and 197 units. [3] The building uses air rights from two small adjoining buildings and a zoning bonus for providing a public plaza to maximize its floor area. As of July 2016 [update] , it is the 96th-tallest building in New York City.
The building's site was originally home to a 5-story structure known as the Siebrecht Building which was home to Pierre Abraham Lorillard. [4] Construction started in late 1999. [5] The original architect of the project was Robert A. M. Stern, who was replaced by Michael Graves in 2001. [6] The building topped-out in April 2002, and was opened that September.
The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper on the East Side of Manhattan in New York City, at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. At 1,046 ft (319 m), it is the tallest brick building in the world with a steel framework. The Singer Building was an office building and early skyscraper in Manhattan, New York City. The headquarters of the Singer Manufacturing Company, was at the northwestern corner of Liberty Street and Broadway in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Frederick Gilbert Bourne, leader of the Singer Company, commissioned the building, which architect Ernest Flagg designed in multiple phases from 1897 to 1908. The building's architecture contained elements of the Beaux-Arts and French Second Empire styles.

It was originally the headquarters of soap company Lever Brothers, a subsidiary of Unilever. Lever House was the second skyscraper in New York City with a glass curtain wall, after the United Nations Secretariat Building.
