Included among the buildings that compose the historic district is the Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House, a museum that was the former home of Dallas civil rights pioneer, Juanita Craft. The house is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and is included within the NRHP district but not the municipal landmark district.

The Ashland Place Historic District is a historic district in the city of Mobile, Alabama, United States. The neighborhood gained its name from a Greek Revival antebellum house called Ashland that once stood on Lanier Avenue. Ashland was famous as the home of Augusta Evans Wilson. The house burned in 1926. The Ashland Place Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1987. It is roughly bounded by Spring Hill Avenue, Ryan Avenue, Old Shell Road, and Levert Avenue. The district covers 400 acres (1.6 km2) and contains 93 contributing buildings. The majority of the buildings date to the early 20th century and cover a variety of historical architectural styles ranging from late Victorian to the Craftsman styles.
The East Ferry Avenue Historic District is a historic residential district in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. The nationally designated historic district stretches two blocks from Woodward Avenue east to Brush Street; the locally designated historic district includes a third block between Brush and Beaubien. The district includes the separately designated Col. Frank J. Hecker House and the Charles Lang Freer House. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1976 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Eaton–Prescott House is a historic house at 284 Summer Avenue in Reading, Massachusetts. Its oldest portion was probably built before 1757. By that year it had acquired a leanto section, since removed or incorporated into the main structure of the house. It is now a principally Georgian style house, although its door surround dates to the Greek Revival period of the 1830s-1840s. The house stands on land that was in the Eaton family as far back as the late 17th century.
The William Parker House is a historic house at 55 Walnut Street in Reading, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1796, was expanded early in the 19th century into a two family residence, and converted back into a single family in the early 20th century. It is notable for its association with William Parker, a dissenter from the doctrines espoused by the local Congregational Church. In 1849 he joined with other members of his extended family in splitting the congregation.
LaGrange, also known as La Grange Plantation or Meredith House, is a historic home located at Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland, United States. It was built about 1760. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story Flemish bond brick house and is one of the few remaining Georgian houses in the town. Sun porches and a frame wing were added to the main house in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Three outbuildings remain, including a late 19th-century dairy, an 18th-century smokehouse, and a 20th-century garage.
The House at 113 Salem Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is a rare well-preserved example of a 19th-century shoemaker's shop. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in the 1840s or 1850s, and was originally the shoe shop of David Nichols, who lived at 103 Salem Street. Its early form, with the high-pitch, gable roof, is readily recognizable despite later alterations and additions. These types of buildings were once common in the town, where shoemaking was a home-based cottage industry.

The district was a 250 acre 17th century grant to Sir Thomas Jernigan a colonist from Somerleyton in Suffolk County. England. The district includes an 18th-century ordinary, a 19th-century church, and modest dwellings dating from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries surrounded by large agricultural fields. The buildings are in a variety of popular architectural styles ranging from Federal to Folk Victorian. Notable buildings include the Somerton United Methodist Church and cemetery, Washington Smith Ordinary, and Ellis General Store.

It was built in 1917–1918, and is a two-story, Southern Colonial style frame dwelling with a truncated hip roof. It is sheathed in weatherboard and features a two-story, pedimented portico flanked by one-story porches extending to sides.
