Blue Moon Aviation is a charter passenger airline based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. It operates charter services for VIPs and sports teams. Its main base is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. [2]

The airline was founded in 2003 by Richard Page (Chief Executive). [2]

Fleet

The Blue Moon Aviation fleet consists of the following aircraft (as of March 2007 [2] ):

Since June 2005 the 72-seat Airbus A319 has been operated by Aerodynamics Inc (ADI Charter Services) on behalf of Blue Moon. [2] The aircraft is currently operated for Dow Chemical out of Saginaw MI.

Hellas Jet was a charter airline based in Athens, Greece, operating services to Greece from destinations in Europe. Its main base was Athens International Airport. Hellas Jet was a licensed scheduled and charter carrier, holding a JAA AOC and a Line Maintenance Certificate under JAA/EASA Part 145, both approved by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. It ceased operations in 2010 due to economic difficulties. The repossession of two of their Airbus A320 aircraft, 87 and 88, was documented on Discovery channel TV programme Airplane Repo. The company slogan was More than a flight.

Afriqiyah Airways

Afriqiyah Airways is a state-owned airline based in Tripoli, Libya. Before the 17 February 2011 revolution, it operated domestic services between Tripoli and Benghazi, and international scheduled services to over 25 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East; since the end of the war, it has been seeking to rebuild its business. Afriqiyah Airways' main base is technically Tripoli International Airport, although this was reported as closed in 2014 and flights are operating as best they can from other airports. The airline is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.

Blue Wings AG was a charter airline based in Germany, focusing on serving Turkey, the Middle East and Russia from its base at Düsseldorf Airport. The headquarters were located on the airport property.

Titan Airways

Titan Airways is a British charter airline founded in 1988 and based at London Stansted Airport. The carrier specialises in short notice ACMI and wet lease operations as well as ad-hoc passenger and cargo charter services to tour operators, corporations, governments and the sports and entertainment sectors. Its main base is Queen Alia International Airport (AMM/OJAI), Amman from where it operates its fleet of Wide Body and Narrow Body aircraft. In addition it has its own MRO which forms part of is Operations & Technical Centre opened in October 2010. Jordan Aviation is an IATA member and an IOSA certificated airline. It is also a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization, the International Air Carrier Association and the Flight Safety Foundation.

Blue Line was a charter passenger airline with its head office in Building B of Paris Nord 2, Parc des Lumières in Roissy-en-France, France. It operated VIP flights and charter services for tour operators, as well as wet-lease contracts. Its main base was Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. It ceased operation on 6 October 2010, after being liquidated by the Tribunal de Commerce de Pontoise.

BH Air Ltd. is a Bulgarian registered airline based in Sofia. Part owned by Balkan Holidays Services based in Sofia, not Balkan Holidays Ltd the Tour Operator based in London. BH Air provides charter flights to tour operators in the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other European countries, as well as ad hoc charters to other destinations. Also flights to Africa, Asia, and the Middle East are operated for groups traveling in connection with cultural and sports events and on business.
