Calacoto (hispanicized spelling) or Qalaqutu (Aymara qala stone, qutu pile, heap, [1] "stone pile") is a neighborhood in La Paz Municipality, Bolivia. It is located in the southern part of the city and is considered one of the largest residential zones due to the cost of the houses and the services available. The population in this neighborhood has a medium to high income level. The zone is located about 15 kilometers from downtown. Calacoto is located in the central zone of the Zona Sur which is considered the biggest residential area in the country along with Santa Cruz De La Sierra’s Equipetrol and Cochabamba’s Cala Cala.
The demographics of Calacoto are Catholic white and mestizo (Spanish and other European with Aymara and Quechua descent) with middle to high socioeconomic status from all ages.
Omasuyos or Uma Suyu is a province in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. Its capital is Achacachi.

Isla del Sol is an island in the southern part of Lake Titicaca. It is part of Bolivia, and specifically part of the La Paz Department. Geographically, the terrain is harsh; it is a rocky, hilly island with many eucalyptus trees. There are no motor vehicles or paved roads on the island. The main economic activity of the approximately 800 families on the island is farming, with fishing and tourism augmenting the subsistence economy. Of the several villages, Yumani and Challapampa are the largest.

Sopocachi is a neighborhood in La Paz, Bolivia. Founded during the republican stage. Sopocachi can be described as a bohemian artistic neighborhood. It is located in the central part of the city, and is part of the Cotahuma district. Sopocachi is mainly a residential area, being one of the biggest residential districts of the city, along with Calacoto. Some of the city's largest buildings are located there. The Plaza Abaroa, Plaza España, two medium-size important squares, and the Montículo, a big hill with monumental areas, are located in Sopocachi. The architecture includes both modern and 1800s designs. The nightlife is bustling with bars, pubs, and discos all around the area. Various genres of music blast from these places. Monticulo Park is also located here. You can view the Illimani Mountain and the beautiful views of the city from here. A carved stone gate marks the entrance to the park which has been there since the 1770s.

The Choqueyapu River, sometimes called the La Paz River, is a river in the La Paz Department of Bolivia. It belongs to the drainage basin of the Amazon. The river originates in a spring called Achachi Qala in the Cordillera Real near the mountain Chacaltaya at a height of 5,395 m. It crosses the city La Paz from north to south. South of Illimani and north of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range it turns to the east; at this point it is better known as the La Paz River. The confluence with Cotacajes River is the beginning of the Beni River, also known as Alto Beni in this region.

Villa Rosario de Wilacala is a village in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is the seat of the Villa Rosario de Wila Khala Canton, one of the five cantons of the Mocomoco Municipality which is the second municipal section of the Eliodoro Camacho Province. The village is situated 4,264 m high at the north-western edge of the Muñecas Mountain Range (Cordillera Muñecas) near the border to Peru. At the time of census 2001 it had a population of 303.
Jach'a Phasa is an archaeological site in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Calacoto Municipality, about 2 km north-east of Rosario. It is situated at a height of 4,126 metres (13,537 ft) on top of the mountain Jach'a Phasa north of the Mawri River.
Qala Qala is an archaeological site in Bolivia in a valley of the same name. The valley is known for its rock art. The zone where the rock paintings are found is also known as Qillqata. It is located in the Oruro Department, Cercado Province, Soracachi Municipality, southeast of Oruro. The rocks are situated about 2 km far from the village Qala Qala (Calacala), at a height of about 4,050 metres (13,287 ft).
Qala T'uxu or Qala Tuqu is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,076 metres (16,654 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Chachacomani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Lluxi and Warawarani and north-west of the mountain Phaq'u Kiwuta.
Qala Phusa or Q'ululu is a 5,465-metre-high (17,930 ft) mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia. It situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality. Qala Phusa lies southwest of Waracha and southeast of Jach'a Waracha.
Qala P'axrani is a 4,262-metre-high (13,983 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Laja Municipality. Qala P'axrani is situated south-west of Pukara (Pucara), north-west of the mountain Kunkani. The river Ch'amaka Jawira originates near the mountain. It flows to the north as a left tributary of Wakira River.
