Daisyfield railway station was a railway station that served the Daisyfield area of Blackburn, Lancashire.
The station was opened by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1854 [1] and closed by British Railways in 1958. When the line was reopened as far as Clitheroe in 1994, Daisyfield remained closed; however the station signal box is still in operation to supervise the adjacent level crossing.
It also acts as a fringe box to Preston power signal box, controlling the line towards Clitheroe and the single line via slotted signals, requiring both the signalman at Preston and Daisyfield, to give a release before a train can use the single line. The disused platforms are still visible from passing trains.

The Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (L&YR) was a major British railway company before the 1923 Grouping. It was incorporated in 1847 from an amalgamation of several existing railways. It was the third-largest railway system based in northern England.

Rufford railway station, opened on 2 April 1849, serves the village of Rufford in Lancashire, England. The station is south west of Preston on the Preston-Ormskirk branch service. The line was formerly the Liverpool, Ormskirk and Preston Railway, which was quickly merged into the East Lancashire Railway on 3 August 1846; this in turn was merged into the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in May 1859.
Bescar Lane railway station is on the Manchester to Southport Line, 4.5 miles (7.2 km) east of Southport in the village of Scarisbrick. Bescar Lane is an old cottage-style station, operated by Northern Trains. Its remote location, some distance from the centre of Scarisbrick Parish, is considered to be "problematic".
Entwistle railway station is 5+3⁄4 miles (9.3 km) north of Bolton and serves the village of Entwistle. It is also the closest station to Edgworth. Unlike nearby Bromley Cross the station lies outside the Transport for Greater Manchester boundary, meaning that passengers cannot take advantage of their special offers and ticketing. Owing to the remote location and low passenger numbers, Entwistle has been a request stop for several years, however since 21st May 2023, it is no longer a request stop, and all trains stop here. It is served by Northern services on the Ribble Valley line towards Blackburn and Clitheroe in England.

Burscough Bridge railway station is one of two railway stations which serves the town of Burscough in Lancashire, England. It is on the Manchester-Southport Line. It is operated and managed by Northern Trains. A bus interchange has recently been constructed next to the station, including a shop and cafe. The station has been identified by Merseytravel as a possible interchange between the Liverpool to Ormskirk line and the Southport to Wigan line in its Liverpool City Region Long Term Rail Strategy.

The station was opened on 1 February 1849 by the East Lancashire Railway as Nelson Inn, Marsden named after the public house adjacent to the station.

Clitheroe railway station serves the town of Clitheroe in Lancashire, England. The station is the northern terminus of the Ribble Valley line / Clitheroe Line operated by Northern Trains and is 10 miles (16 km) north of Blackburn. The station forms part of Clitheroe Interchange, which has won a number of awards.
Whalley railway station serves the village of Whalley in Lancashire, England. The station lies on the Ribble Valley Line 7+1⁄4 miles (11.7 km) north of Blackburn. The station has two platforms, slightly offset from each other. It is unstaffed, with shelters on each platform. Immediately beyond its eastern end, the line crosses the River Calder on a 678-yard (620 m) long, brick viaduct of 48 arches.
The Preston and Longridge Railway (P&LR) was a branch line in Lancashire, England. Originally designed to carry quarried stone in horse-drawn wagons, it became part of an ambitious plan to link the Lancashire coast to the heart of Yorkshire. The ambition was never achieved, but the line continued to carry passengers until 1930 and goods until 1967.
Chatburn railway station once served the small village of Chatburn in Lancashire, England.
Todd Lane Junction, previously called Preston Junction until 1952, was a railway station between Preston and Bamber Bridge which closed to passenger traffic on 7 October 1968. The station was immediately to the north of a triangular junction between lines from Preston, East Lancashire via Bamber Bridge, and Ormskirk via Lostock Hall. The station served as an interchange between the lines. The line from Preston to Bamber Bridge via Todd Lane remained open for freight trains until 4 September 1972 to serve Lostock Hall Gas Works. The track bed is now a public footpath and cycleway.
