Anatomical terminology

The deep anterior cervical lymph nodes are bounded superiorly by the hyoid bone, inferiorly by the sternal notch, and are found deep to the overlying platysma muscle. [1] These nodes drain the laryngo-tracho-thyroidal region. [2]
