The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are limited production sports cars produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari, introduced in 2018 for the 2019 model year. The cars mark the start of a new lineage of models called the "Icona" series, a program aimed at creating special cars inspired by classic Ferrari models, all to be produced in limited series. The first cars of the new lineage are the Monza SP1 and SP2, whose designs are inspired by the 750 Monza, 250 Testarossa and 166 MM. [3] [4] The SP1 and SP2 nomenclature refers to the number of seats for each model. 499 units were built [5] at a price of €1.58 million before options.
Both the SP1 and SP2 are powered by a variant of the naturally aspirated 6,496 cc (6.5 L; 396.4 cu in) F140 GA V12 found in the 812 Superfast. The engine has been tuned to generate 7.4 kW (10 hp; 10 PS) more than the engine in the 812, for a total of 596 kW (799 hp; 810 PS) at 8,500 rpm and 719 N⋅m (530 lbf⋅ft) of torque at 7,000 rpm, making them at the time, the most powerful factory Ferrari V12 road cars ever produced until the release of the 812 Competizione and Competizione A in 2021 featuring an upgraded F140 V12 producing 820 hp (830 PS). The chassis is loosely based on the 812 and both the SP1 and SP2 cars feature carbon fibre composite bodywork. The SP1 weighs 1,500 kg (3,306 lb), while the two-seat SP2 is 20 kg (45 lb) heavier at 1,520 kg (3,351 lb). [8] The strength of the composite bodywork allows for the inclusion of a large clamshell hood.
Manufacturer claimed performance figures for both of the cars include a 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) acceleration time of 2.9 seconds, 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) acceleration time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed that exceeds 299 km/h (186 mph). [9]
The SP1 and SP2 feature low slung, carbon fibre speedster bodywork inspired by early, post-war Ferrari race cars such as the 166 MM, as well as the 250 Testarossa and 750 Monza. [10] The SP1 is a single-seater, with the driver's position situated to one side of the car, while the SP2 has two seats separated by a center section. Both of the cars feature small scissor doors and don't have windshields, instead relying on a patented system Ferrari calls the "Virtual Windshield", which is supposed to deviate airflow away from the driver. In 2020, Ferrari Styling Centre was awarded the Compasso d’Oro industrial design award for the Monza SP1. [11] Award was received by Flavio Manzoni and Jane Reeve. [12] All the cars are painted at Carrozzeria Zanasi in Maranello.

The Ferrari Testarossa is a 12-cylinder mid-engine sports car manufactured by Ferrari, which went into production in 1984 as the successor to the Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer. The Pininfarina-designed car was originally produced from 1984 until 1991, with two model revisions following the end of Testarossa production called the 512 TR and F512 M, which were produced from 1992 until 1996. Including revised variations, almost 10,000 cars in total were produced, making it at the time one of the most mass-produced Ferrari models.
The Ferrari 575M Maranello is a two-seat, two-door, grand tourer manufactured by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. Launched in 2002, it is essentially an updated 550 Maranello featuring minor styling changes from Pininfarina. The 575M was replaced by the 599 GTB in the first half of 2006.
The Ferrari 275 is a series of front-engined V12-powered grand touring automobiles with two-seater coupé and spider bodies produced by Ferrari between 1964 and 1968. The first 275 series cars were powered by a 3.3 L (3286 cc) overhead camshaft Colombo 60° V12 engine producing 260–320 hp (190–240 kW). An updated 275 GTB/4 was introduced in 1966, with a revised four overhead camshaft engine producing 300 hp (220 kW). The 275 series were the first road-going Ferraris equipped with a transaxle and independent rear suspension.
The Ferrari 348 is a mid-engine V8-powered 2-seat sports car produced by Italian automaker Ferrari, replacing the 328 in 1989 and remaining in production until 1995, when it was replaced by the F355. It was the final V8 model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari before his death, commissioned to production posthumously.
The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a front-engine V12 2-seat grand tourer built by Ferrari from 1996 to 2002. The 550 Maranello marked Ferrari's return to a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout for its 2-seater 12-cylinder model, 23 years after the 365 GTB/4 Daytona had been replaced by the mid-engined Berlinetta Boxer.
The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a grand tourer produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. It served as the brand's front-engined, two-seat model, replacing the 575M Maranello in 2006 as a 2007 model, and was later replaced for the 2013 model year by the F12berlinetta.
The Ferrari Monza is one of a series of cars built by Ferrari. In the early 1950s, Ferrari shifted from using the compact Gioacchino Colombo-designed V12 engine in its smallest class of sports racers to a line of four-cylinder engines designed by Aurelio Lampredi. Inspired by the success of the light and reliable 2.5 L 553 F1 car, the four-cylinder sports racers competed successfully through the late 1950s, culminating with the famed 500 Mondial and 750 Monza.

The Ferrari F12berlinetta is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The F12berlinetta debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and replaced the 599 grand tourer. The naturally aspirated 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 engine used in the F12berlinetta has won the 2013 International Engine of the Year Award in the Best Performance category and Best Engine above 4.0 litres. The F12berlinetta was named "The Supercar of the Year 2012" by car magazine Top Gear. The F12berlinetta was replaced by the 812 Superfast in early 2017.
Flavio Manzoni is an Italian architect and automobile designer. He has held the position of Chief Design Officer at Ferrari since January 2010, leading the development of many Ferrari models, including the LaFerrari.
The F140 engine family is a series of 65° DOHC V12 petrol engines produced by Ferrari since 2002, and used in both Ferrari and Maserati cars. In the Ferrari Enzo, it set the record for the most powerful naturally aspirated engine in a road car. The 5998.8 cc engine, designed for the Enzo, is known within Ferrari as the Tipo F140B, whereas the very similar Tipo F140C engine displaces 5998.8 cc and was designed for the 599 as the most powerful series-production Ferrari engine, a trend that has continued with the F12 and 812. This engine is also used in Maserati Birdcage 75th. For Tipo F140EB displacement was enlarged to 6262.456 cc and debuted in FF. The latest enlargement is the Tipo F140GA at 6495.6 cc used in the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

The Ferrari Portofino is a grand touring sports car produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Ferrari. It is a two-door 2+2 hard top convertible, with a 3.9 L twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine and a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) time of 3.5 seconds. The car is named after the village of Portofino on the "Italian Riviera" and succeeds the company's previous V8 grand tourer, the California T. The car was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Ferrari 296 is a sports car built since 2022 by the Italian company Ferrari. The 296 is a two-seater, offered as a GTB coupé and a GTS folding hard-top convertible. It is a plug-in hybrid with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and its power train combines a twin-turbocharged 120-degree block-angle V6 with an electric drive fitted in between the engine and gearbox. The 296 can be driven in electric-only mode for short distances, to comply with use in urban zero-emission zones.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a limited production mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari, unveiled on 20 November 2021 for the 2023 model year. The Daytona SP3 is the latest in the "Icona" series of high-performance cars being produced by Ferrari after the Ferrari Monza SP series. 599 examples will be built from 2022 and will be sold for $2.25 million each. The Daytona SP3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that is shared with the 812 Superfast. The SP3 marks the first return of Ferrari to naturally-aspirated, mid-mounted engines for limited edition cars without hybrid electric systems since the Ferrari Enzo, introduced in 2002.
The Ferrari 12Cilindri is a two-seater front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. It was unveiled at Miami Beach on May 3, 2024, to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Ferrari in the American market.
