The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, also known as the People's PCC or simply the PCC (政协), is a political advisory body in the People's Republic of China and a central part of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s united front system. Its members advise and put proposals for political and social issues to government bodies. However, the CPPCC is a body without real legislative power. While consultation does take place, it is supervised and directed by the CCP.
The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, or BOCOG, also known as the Beijing Organizing Committee, was an informal name for the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. It was also the organizing committee for the Games of the XIII Paralympiad. The President of BOCOG was Liu Qi, the then CPC secretary of Beijing Municipality.

The Sports and Olympic Committee of Macau, China, is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Macau and is responsible for organizing the Special Administrative Region's (SAR) participation in international sporting events. It is officially recognised as a National Olympic Committee by the Asian Olympic Committees, Portuguese Speaking Olympic Committees and East Asian Olympic Committees, etc., regional Olympic Committee, but not yet by the International Olympic Committee.
Macau's Paralympic Committee was founded in 1979, and the territory first competed at the Summer Paralympic Games in 1988. It has competed in every edition of the Summer Games since then, but has never participated in the Winter Paralympic Games.

The Nisoish or Yi languages, which contains both the Northern Loloish and Southeastern Loloish branches, are a branch of the Loloish languages proposed by Lama (2012). Northern Loloish and Southeastern Loloish were established by Bradley (1997), while the Nisoish group combining Bradley's two branches was proposed by Ziwo Lama (2012). Lama (2012) refers to Northern Loloish as Nisoid or Nisu–Lope, and Southeastern Loloish as Axi–Puoid.
Enu or Ximoluo is a Hanoish language of the Bi-Ka branch spoken by 14,000 people of the Hani ethnic group. It is spoken in the counties of Mojiang, Jiangcheng, and Luchun in Yunnan, China.
Muangphe is a Lolo-Burmese language spoken by about 300 people in Guangnan County, Yunnan, China.
Members of the standing committees of the Chinese Communist Party provincial-level committees, commonly referred to as Shengwei Changwei, make up the top ranks of the provincial-level organizations of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In theory, the Standing Committee of a Party Committee manages the day-to-day party affairs of a provincial party organization, and are selected from the members of the provincial-level Party Committee at large. In practice, Shengwei Changwei is a position with significant political power, and their appointments are essentially directed by the central leadership through the Organization Department of the Chinese Communist Party.
Yang Weize is a former Chinese politician. He was the Communist Party Secretary of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, he served as the party secretary in the neighbouring city of Wuxi for seven years, and before that the Mayor of Suzhou. In 2015, Yang was put under investigation for corruption by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He was tried and convicted on corruption charges and sentenced to twelve years and six months in prison in December 2016.
Chen Yixin is a Chinese politician who is the current Minister of State Security and the former secretary-general of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party from 2018 to 2023. He has led the Ministry of State Security (MSS) since 2022.
Yu Yuanhui is a Chinese politician of ethnic Yao heritage who spent most of his career in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Until 2015, he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Nanning, capital of Guangxi, and was a Standing Committee member of the regional party organization. In May 2015, he was put under investigation by the Chinese Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. An alternate member of the Central Committee from 2007 until his downfall, Yu was duly expelled from the party and lost his Central Committee seat in 2015 and was sentenced to 11 years in jail.
Woni is a Southern Loloish language spoken in Zhenyuan Yi, Hani and Lahu Autonomous County and Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County of Yunnan, China. The most extensive description of Woni to date is that of Yang (2016).
The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress is one of nine special committees of the National People's Congress (NPC), the national legislature of the People's Republic of China. The special committee was created during the first session of the 6th National People's Congress in June 1983, and has existed for every National People's Congress since.
Zhang Yue is a former Chinese politician, and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of Hebei. A police officer by training, Zhang had a lengthy career rising through the ranks in China's policing system. He was dismissed from his position in April 2016 and undergoing investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
