The Jaworzno Power Station is a complex of coal-fired thermal power stations at Jaworzno, Poland.
Bełchatów Power Station is a coal-fired power station near Bełchatów, Poland. It is the dirtiest power station in Europe. The power station is owned and operated by PGE GiEK Oddział Elektrownia Bełchatów, a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Energetyczna.
Rybnik Power Station is a hard coal-fired power station at Rybnik in Poland. The power station was built in the 1970s. It has installed power generation capacity of 1,775 MW. The average annual production of electricity amounts to 9 TWh. Rybnik Power Station has two 120-metre (390 ft) tall cooling towers and two large flue gas stacks, one with a height of 260 metres (850 ft) and another with a height of 300 metres (980 ft).
The Żarnowiec Nuclear Power Plant was to be the first nuclear power plant in Poland. The construction was cancelled due to changes in the economic and political situation in Poland, in the Soviet Union and in the Eastern Bloc and due to the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 and the following years. It was to be located in the former village of Kartoszyno and had its seat in Nadole.

The Turów coal mine or KWB Turów, is a large open pit mine in the southwest of Poland, located outside Bogatynia, Lower Silesia. It feeds the nearby Turów Power Station. In March 2024 a Warsaw court found the EIA for mining from 2026 to be invalid, but the owner is appealing. Unlike the other coal-dependant parts of Poland, a just transition for coal phase-out has not yet been planned as of 2024.
Katowice Power Station is a coal-fired power station in Katowice, Poland. It consists of four units. Two units each with a generation capacity of 144 MWt went in service respectively in 1985, and a third unit of 233 MWt in 1991. In 2000 a new unit of BCF-100 type with a heat capacity of 200 MW and electric generation capacity of 135.5 MW was added. The plant has a heating capacity of 200 MWt.

As the CEO of LuNa Smelter he was responsible for the construction and management of a tin smelter in East Africa on behalf of the holding. From June 2019, Krzysztof Zamasz was Development Advisor to the CEO of the Veolia Group in Poland responsible for developing the energy, water and waste management business. From November 2020 to May 2022 Krzysztof Zamasz was involved in setting up the structure of Veolia Energy Contracting Poland, part of the Veolia Group Poland, as the company's Chairman of the Management Board
Energa SA is a Polish corporate group which deals in the generation, distribution, and supplies electricity to approximately 2.7 million people in Northern Poland. Energa is Poland's third largest distribution network operator serving North and Central Poland, with the other major distributors being; The Tauron Group, Enea SA, and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.
Turów Power Station is a coal-fired power station in Bogatynia, Poland. The power station, operated by state-owned Polska Grupa Energetyczna via Oddział Elektrownia Turów, is fuelled by lignite extracted from the nearby Turów coal mine. Operations at the plant began in 1962. As of 2021 it supplied 5% of Poland's electricity and is the sole provider of heat and hot water to hospitals, schools and homes in Bogatynia.
