X-Men is an animated superhero television series which debuted on October 31, 1992, in the United States on the Fox Kids Network. X-Men was Marvel Comics' second attempt at an animated X-Men TV series after the pilot, X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men, was not picked up.

<i>X-Men: Evolution</i> Television series

X-Men: Evolution is an American animated television series about the Marvel Comics superhero team X-Men. In this incarnation, many of the characters were teenagers instead of adults, much like how they were in the early issues of the comics. The series ran for a total of four seasons from November 4, 2000 until October 25, 2003 on Kids' WB, which at the time made it the third longest-running Marvel Comics animated series, behind only Fox Kids' X-Men and Spider-Man animated series. Disney XD aired the series from June 15, 2009 to December 30, 2011.

X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men is an animated television pilot originally broadcast in 1989 on the Marvel Action Universe television block, featuring Marvel Comics' mutant superheroes of the X-Men. The pilot aired infrequently in syndication and was later released on video. It later served as the basis for Konami's X-Men arcade game.

A superhero film is a film that focuses on the actions of superheroes. Superheroes are individuals who possess extraordinary (superhuman) abilities, and are dedicated to protecting the public. These films typically feature action, adventure, fantasy, and/or science fiction elements. The first film of a particular character often focuses on the hero's origin story-- the story of how they got their special powers. The first film frequently introduces the hero's nemesis.

She is a female ninja of Japanese origin and a supporting character of the X-Men, particularly associated with Wolverine. Originally conceived of as a love interest of Storm, the characters' relationship was relegated to subtext after Marvel Comics' editor-in-chief Jim Shooter mandated that no same-gender couples could be depicted in comic books during his tenure at the company.

Marvel Anime is a series of four anime superhero television series and two direct-to-video films produced in collaboration between Marvel Entertainment, Japanese animation studio Madhouse, and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. The four twelve-episode series, based on Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade, aired in Japan on Animax between October 2010 and September 2011. An English-language version aired in North America on G4 between July 2011 and April 2012. Each of the series, guided by writer Warren Ellis, largely features Japan as the setting for the storyline.
