This article lists the oldest extant buildings in Ohio, including extant buildings and structures constructed prior to and during the United States rule over Ohio. Only buildings built prior to 1830 are suitable for inclusion on this list, or the building must be the oldest of its type.
In order to qualify for the list, a structure must:
This consciously excludes ruins of limited height, roads and statues. Bridges may be included if they otherwise fulfill the above criteria. Dates for many of the oldest structures have been arrived at by radiocarbon dating or dendrochronology and should be considered approximate. If the exact year of initial construction is estimated, it will be shown as a range of dates.

The Coshocton County Courthouse, designed in Second Empire style, is a historic courthouse building located at 349 Main Street in Coshocton, Ohio. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 22, 1973.
Newcom Tavern, also known as the "Old Cabin", is a historic structure in Dayton, Ohio and is the city's oldest existing building. It was built in 1796 for Colonel George Newcom and his wife Mary, who ran it as a tavern and hostel. The building passed through several owners, and its historical significance was forgotten until planned construction revealed the original log structure. The building was moved twice and now located in Dayton's Carillon Historical Park and operated as a museum.
Second Baptist Church is a historic church building in the village of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, United States. Constructed in the mid-19th century, it is the oldest church in the village, and it has been named a historic site.
The Fort Pitt Block House is a historic building in Point State Park in the city of Pittsburgh. It was constructed in 1764 as a redoubt of Fort Pitt, making it the oldest extant structure in Western Pennsylvania, as well as the "oldest authenticated structure west of the Allegheny Mountains".
The Frank J. Lausche State Office Building is a 1979-erected 204 foot 15 story high-rise in downtown Cleveland on the corner of West Superior and Prospect Avenue on the city's Tower City Center complex. It sits in front of the 2002-built Carl B. Stokes United States Courthouse. The buildings majority of tenants work for the State of Ohio. The structure cost the state $26 million to build in 1977-1979. That would be about $83.5 million in today's inflation rate. In front of the building sits sculptor Tony Smith's Last.
