MBC 1 is a Mauritian free-to-air television channel of the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation, the national state broadcaster. MBC 1 was launched as the first TV channel in the country on 8 June 1964. [1] [2] [3] [4]

On November 3, 2013, MBC (Mauritius) introduced the MBC News Channel which airs between 7AM-6PM on MBC 1, bringing up-to-date local, regional and international news every hour including reportages and documentaries in major Mauritian speaking language. MBC News Channel remained a block on MBC 1, from 7 AM to 6PM until January 31, 2015 where it was removed.

MBC 2 is a television channel of the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in Mauritius. It was launched as the second TV channel in Mauritius on 30 July 1990 after the MBC 1. Kids Channel, previously known as Knowledge Channel, was a Mauritian free-to-air cartoon television channel operated by the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), which is the national state broadcaster. Launched as the Knowledge Channel on 18 September 2007, it primarily broadcast cartoons, anime, teen sitcoms, game shows, and educational children's TV series in both English and French. On 15 September 2014, MBC renamed the channel to Kids Channel. At a certain time, the frequency went on live streaming of TV5Monde. The channel ceased operations on 31 January 2015 as part of MBC's broader programming review, which also affected the MBC News Channel. The channel was accessible via digital terrestrial television.

Best FM is a Hindi-language entertainment radio station in Mauritius that is owned and broadcast by the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation. The radio started operating on the 5th of October 2010 and is entirely dedicated to Bollywood music and has as slogan "Aur Kya Chahiye". MBC Sat is a television channel of the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) broadcast in Mauritius. It was launched on November 13, 2014 after an agreement between Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation and CanalSat Mauritius. It is the first satellite channel by the national TV broadcaster to broadcast via satellite. It also started to diffuse across the Indian Ocean including Mauritius via Parabole during November 2016. It broadcasts programs in French, English, Creole and Hindi.
