Malla Jawira (Aymara malla lead, jawira river, [1] "lead river", Hispanicized spelling Malla Jahuira) is a river in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is a right tributary of the Luribay River whose waters flow to the La Paz River. [2]

Malla Jawira originates near the mountain León Jiwata of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. At first it flows to the southwest along the mountains named P'iq'iñ Q'ara and Malla Qullu, the little town of Malla and Qillqata where it turns to the northwest. Some of its affluents from the right are Wila Jawira and Jach'a K'uchu Jawira. The confluence with the Luribay River is within the Luribay Municipality near Wila Qura (Vilacora), north of Luribay. Jach'a Jawira which downstream is named Japha Jawira is a Bolivian river east of Lake Titicaca in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality and in the Omasuyos Province, Achacachi Municipality. Its waters flow to Lake Titicaca via the Qiqa Jawira.

Wila Willk'i is a 4,630-metre-high (15,190 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Wila Willk'i is situated northwest of Malla and a mountain named Malla Qullu.

Jach'a Qullu is a 4,390-metre-high (14,403 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Jach'a Qullu is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Willk'i, Malla Qullu and Janq'u Qalani (Jankho Khalani). It lies west of Malla. The river Jach'a K'uchu Jawira flows along the northern slopes of Jach'a Qullu.

Qillqata is a 3,922-metre-high (12,867 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It lies in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Qillqata is situated south-west of Malla. The river Malla Jawira flows along its southern slopes.

Quta Qutani is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,600 metres (15,092 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Quta Qutani is situated northwest of the little town of Malla and the mountains named Malla Qullu and Wila Willk'i and northeast of Kunturiri. The Jach'a K'uchu Jawira (Jachcha Khuchu Jahuira) originates east of the mountain. It flows along its southeastern slope and to the southwest as a tributary of the Malla Jawira.

Ch'utu Wankarani is a 4,475-metre-high (14,682 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, northeast of Ch'ama (Chama). Ch'utu Wankarani lies northeast of Imill Wawani and Apachita and southeast of Jisk'a Sallalla and Wisk'achani. The Wila Jaqhi Jawira originates near Ch'utu Wankarani. It flows to the northeast.

Wila Quta is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,960 metres (16,273 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, north of the massif of Janq'u Uma and Illampu of the Cordillera Real. The river Janq'u Uma Jawira originates south of the mountain. It flows to the north-east.

Ch'uch'u Jawira is a Bolivian river in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Its waters flow the Kaka River which belongs to the watershed of the Beni River.

Wankar Quta Qullu is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,900 metres (16,076 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, north of the main range of the Cordillera Real. Wankar Quta Qullu lies northeast of the mountain Wila Wilani. South of it there is a lake named Q'asiri Quta. A little river named Q'asiri Jawira originates here. It flows to Ch'uch'u Jawira in the south.

Ch'uxñani is a 4,680-metre-high (15,354 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, in the northern extensions of the Cordillera Real southeast of the mountain Jach'a Waylla Punta. Ch'uxñani lies near the confluence of the rivers Ch'uch'u Jawira which comes from the northwest and Jach'a Uma Jawira which originates between the mountain Wila Quta and the Janq'u Uma-Illampu massif.

The Ch'alla Jawira which upstream is named Ch'api K'uchu and downstream successively is called Tupa Jawira and Qura Jawira is a river in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is a right affluent of the Aqhuya Jawira whose waters flow to the Desaguadero River.

Wila Qullu is a 4,658-metre-high (15,282 ft) mountain in the southern part of the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Waldo Ballivián Municipality. This is where the Ch'alla Jawira originates. Its waters flow to the Desaguadero River.

Nina Qullu is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 3,600 m (11,800 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. The Qullpa Jawira flows along its eastern slope.

Pukarani is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 3,720 m (12,200 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Pukarani lies northwest of Chuqi Tira. The Malla Jawira flows along its south-western slopes.

Chuqi Tira is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,000 m (13,000 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Chuqi Tira lies southeast of Pukarani. The Malla Jawira flows along its southern and south-western slopes.

Lluxita is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,000 m (13,000 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Lluxita lies northwest of Jach'a Walluni and Turini, east of the village of Capilla Santa Cruz. The Malla Jawira flows along its slopes.

Turini is a 4,138-metre-high (13,576 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Turini lies between Jach'a Walluni in the southeast and Lluxita in the northwest. The Malla Jawira flows along its slopes.

Ch'iyar Quta is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,280 m (14,040 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Ch'iyar Quta lies between the Ch'uñu Uma River in the north and the Ch'uñu Uma Jawira in the south which both originate southeast of the mountain. They flow to the Luribay River.

Wila Willk'i is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 480 m (1,570 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. This is where the Wila Willk'i Jawira originates. It flows to the northwest as an affluent of the Luribay River.
