Milluni Lake

Milluni (Aymara millu light brown, reddish, fair-haired, dark chestnut, [2] -ni suffix to indicate ownership, "the one that has got a brown colour") is a lake on the western side of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality, north of El Alto.

The lake is situated at a height of 4,565 metres (14,977 ft) south of the mountain Wayna Potosí, at the foot of Chacaltaya. It is about 1.83 km long and 1 km at its widest point. The surface is 2.37 km² (0.92 sq mi). [3] At the south side there is a dam.

Milluni Lake is also called Milluni Grande (Spanish for big) in order to distinguish it from a smaller, half moon shaped lake next to it in the north, Milluni Chico (Spanish for small), which is situated at a height of 4,585 m.

Chiyar Quta (La Paz)

Kunturiri is a mountain in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia, about 5,648 metres (18,530 ft) high. It is also the name of the whole massif. Kunturiri is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pukarani Municipality, southeast of Chachakumani and northwest of Huayna Potosí.

Phaqu Quta

Phaq'u Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated at a height of about 4,667 metres (15,312 ft) south of the mountain Chacaltaya, south-east of Milluni Lake and south-west of Qillwani (Khelluani).

Janqu Quta (El Alto)

Janq'u Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated south of the mountain Wayna Potosí and north-east of Milluni Lake at a height of about 4,664 metres (15,302 ft). The little lake north-east of Janq'u Quta is named Pata Quta (Pata Khota).

Lawrawani is a lake west of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated at a height of about 4,475 metres (14,682 ft), south-west and west of two slightly larger lakes, Khotia Quta and Q'ara Quta, and south-west of the mountains Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta.

Q'ara Quta is a lake on the western side of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Comunidad Alto Peñas. It lies north-west of the Kunturiri massif, between the lakes Wichhu Quta (5 km) in the south-west and Khotia Quta and Janq'u Quta in the north-east. The lakes are connected by Jach'a Jawira, a river which originates near the mountain Wila Lluxita and flows down to Lake Titicaca. Q'ara Quta is situated at a height of about 4,400 metres (14,400 ft), about 5 km long and 0,65 km at its widest point.

Laram Quta (El Alto)

Laram Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It lies south of the mountain Chacaltaya, south-east of Milluni Lake, south-west of the Qillwani Lakes and north-west of Qillwani (Khelluani). Laram Quta is situated at a height of about 4,556 metres (14,948 ft), about 0,5 km long and 0,17 km at its widest point.

Milluni Peak, also known as or Pico Milluni, is a mountain in the Andes, about 5,483 m (17,989 ft) high, located in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated south of Wayna Potosí and northeast of El Alto and La Paz.

Qachu Quta or Llachu Quta is a Bolivian lake on the west side of the Apolobamba mountain range. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Bautista Saavedra Province, Charasani Municipality, Charasani Canton, northwest of Charasani, southeast of the Janq'u Qala Lake and east of the small lake named Ch'uxña Quta. Qachu Quta is about 0.9 km long and 0.5 km at its widest point and situated at a height of about 4,466 metres (14,652 ft).

Sura Quta is a lake west of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pukarani Municipality, Wayna Potosí Canton, on the border to Batallas Municipality. It is situated at a height of about 4,491 metres (14,734 ft), about 1.77 km long and 0.7 km at its widest point. Sura Quta lies north east of Taypi Chaka Quta. The lakes are connected by the Link'u River that flows down from the Cordillera Real towards Lake Titicaca.

Tira Qullu is a 4,832-metre-high (15,853 ft) mountain in the western extension of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Tira Qullu lies between the lakes Sura Quta and Taypi Chaka Quta in the west and Juri Quta in the east. It is situated south-west of the mountains Jach'a Jipiña and Milluni.

Laram Quta (La Paz)

Laram Quta is a lake in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality, La Paz Canton. It lies south-west of the lake Pata Larama. The wetlands of this area are also known as Pampa Larama (Pampalarama, Pamparalama). This is where the Qaluyu River (Kaluyo) originates which downstream is called Achachi Qala and Choqueyapu River.

Tilata is a 5,336-metre-high (17,507 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Tilata is situated south of the mountain Llamp'u, north-west of Qala Uyu (Khala Huyo) and north-east of Wayna Potosí. Tilata Lake lies east of the mountain.

Laram Quta is a lake in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. It lies south of the mountain Mururata. Laram Quta is situated south-west of the lakes Artisa Pata (Arteza Pata) and Artisa Quta (Arteza Kkota). The lakes north-west of it are named Qillwa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta which is the small one next to Laram Quta.

Maman Quta is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes, about 5,160 metres (16,929 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality. Mama Quta lies southeast of Qala Wathiyani.
