Moderna Tider is the second studio album by Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider, released on 10 March 1981. 130,000 copies were ordered before the album's release. The album peaked at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Norwegian albums chart. [1]

EMI released this low price album as a part of a whole series of albums by Swedish artists and the CDs were mainly supposed to be sold at gas stations and convenience stores.

När vi två blir en 1980 Gyllene Tider song

"När vi två blir en", written by Per Gessle, also known by the refrain's opening line "Jag vill känna din kropp emot min", is a song with lyrics describing teenage love, released as a single on 29 October 1980 by pop group Gyllene Tider. Göran Fritzson wrote the Farfisa intro and the hook. Gyllene Tider also recorded the song with lyrics in English, as "Beating Heart", releasing it as a promotional single on 1 September 1981 using the group name Modern Times.

"Flickorna på TV 2" became one of Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider's early hit songs. The song was written by Per Gessle and Mats "M.P." Persson, and was released as a single on 10 December 1979. The single had a double A-side, with "Himmel No. 7". However, most attention was brought to "Flickorna på TV 2", and one week later the single was re-released as a double A-side. The single topped the Swedish singles chart on 22 February 1980. "Flickorna på TV 2" was re-released in 1989.

"Ljudet av ett annat hjärta", written by Per Gessle and Mats "MP" Persson, is a song recorded by Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider, released as a single on 24 October 1981. It peaked at number three on the Swedish Singles Chart. The song became a Svensktoppen hit for nine weeks between 14 February and 14 April 1982, peaking at number six.
