Mossy Mountain is a summit located in Adirondack Mountains of New York located in the Town of Wells north of the hamlet of Wells.

Dream Island is an island lying 0.7 km (0.43 mi) south-east of Cape Monaco, off the south-west coast of Anvers Island in Wylie Bay, in the Palmer Archipelago of Antarctica. It was surveyed by the British Naval Hydrographic Survey Unit in 1956-1957 and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for its natural features including a cave and, in summer, a small waterfall, with mossy patches and grass. It lies about 10 km north-west of the United States' Palmer Station.
The stratum lucidum of the hippocampus is a layer of the hippocampus between the stratum pyramidale and the stratum radiatum. It is the tract of the mossy fiber projections, both inhibitory and excitatory from the granule cells of the dentate gyrus. One mossy fiber may make up to 37 connections to a single pyramidal cell, and innervate around 12 pyramidal cells on top of that. Any given pyramidal cell in the stratum lucidum may get input from as many as 50 granule cells.

Fairy Falls is a 20-foot waterfall on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge in the United States. As part of a tributary of Wahkeena Creek, Fairy Falls is located upstream from the much larger Wahkeena Falls. While small, this fan-shaped waterfall is a destination for photographers, mainly because of the scenic view. The creek cascades through a mossy rock slide lined with ferns, until rocky ledges of basalt break the water into various lacy streams.
Mossy is an unincorporated community in Fayette County, West Virginia, United States. Mossy is located off exit 60 on the West Virginia Turnpike and is west of Oak Hill. As of 1993, the community had an Exxon gas station, and motel, all owned by Teddy Gray. The motel has burned down and is gone.

Mossy Creek is an unincorporated community in Augusta County, Virginia, United States. Mossy Creek is located on Virginia State Route 42 3.3 miles (5.3 km) west-southwest of Bridgewater. The Hannah Miller House and the Henry Miller House, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, are both located near Mossy Creek.
Mount Madja-as is a large dormant volcano, and the highest peak on the island of Panay and in the Western Visayas region in the Philippines, and second highest mountain in the Visayas, after Mount Kanlaon on Negros. With an elevation of 6,946 feet above sea level, making it 61st-highest peak of an island in the world and the 9th-most prominent mountain in the Philippines. The mountain is most famous for its crown shyness forest, mossy forest, sea of clouds and rich for its diverse flora and fauna and 14 waterfalls down to its slopes. Located in Culasi, Antique, dominating the landscape for miles around as far as 76 kilometers, the view of the mountain is still visible from Kalibo, Aklan, overlooking to the southwest.
Mount Nangtud is the second highest peak on the island of Panay, in the Philippines and third highest mountain in the Visayas, after Mount Kanlaon and Mount Madja-as. With an elevation of 2,074 m (6,804 ft) above sea level, it is located in Barbaza, Antique. Mount Nangtud is famous for its "sea of clouds" and rich for its diverse flora and fauna and mossy forest. It is part of the Central Panay Mountain Range, the longest and largest mountain range in Panay and Western Visayas.
Nepenthes nebularum is a tropical pitcher plant native to southeastern Mindanao in the Philippines. The species was described by Geoff Mansell, owner of Exotica Plants, and Filipino botanist Wally Suarez. It has so far been recorded with certainty from only two mountains (Mount Hafas & undisclosed location, where it grows in submontane mossy forest at an altitude of up to 1800 m above sea level. It has been found in close proximity to N. copelandii, N. truncata, and a taxon matching the description of N. cornuta.
