Noori Masjid is a mosque under Madarsa Islamiya Shamsul Huda, Patna in Bihar. The mosque is located between Bari Path and Ashok Rajpath near Science College, Patna. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

It was named after Syed Noorul Huda, who donated his land for both the madrasa (seminary) and the mosque. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]

Jang Bahadur Singh is an Indian Bhojpuri folk singer and wrestler, who was popular during the 1940s to 1970s in Bihar, Jharkhand & Bengal Region. He is an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi and his principles. He was born in Kausad village in Siwan district of Bihar on 10 December 1920. He is a singer of 'Vyas Style', a genre of Bhojpuri folk singing. He was a celebrated wrestler in Bihar and Bengal Region. He was given the title of Sher-e-Bihar when he defeated a heavy weight wrestler from Bengal side. He used to inspire the youth to fight for freedom by singing patriotic songs, for which he was also imprisoned by the British. Nowadays, he resides in his paternal village living his remaining years of life in peace.

Bihar Vidyapeeth is an Indian Educational Institution founded by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on 6 February 1921 but it was seized by the British in 1942. It was started in Patna by Shri Rajendra Prasad and the land was donated by Maulana Mazharul Haque. Its first Institution was opened at Patna-Gaya road presently known as Buddha Marg. It was inaugurated by Mohammad Ali Jauhar and Kasturba Gandhi along with Mahatma Gandhi. In 2022, It is proposed to make Bihar Vidyapeeth a Central University.

Bari Path is a road in Patna, the capital of Bihar. It was named after Professor Abdul Bari in 1948 after his murder in Khusrupur, Patna. Bari House was situated on this road. Mahatma Gandhi came to Bari House on 29 March 1947, the day after Bari's death. It connects Gandhi Chowk to Gandhi Maidan, runs parallel to Ashok Rajpath. It connects with Ashok Rajpath in many points, such as in Ramna Road, Khazanchi Road.

MV Ganga Vihar popularly known as Floating Restaurant or MV Kautilya is a Restaurant which helds in Gandhi Ghat, Patna, the capital city of Bihar. It was started by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation in 2009 but it was stopped in 2017 due to some Technical Faults. It was restarted in December 2022.

Laxmi Narayan Sudhanshu (1906–1974) was an Indian writer, litterateur, poet, independent activist and political leader. He won the 1952 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from an assembly seat in Purnia. He also held the post of Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from 1962 to 1967. Sudhanshu is known for actively participating in the Quit India Movement in 1942. He was imprisoned in Bhagalpur jail by the Britishers.

Maa Janaki Janmbhoomi Mandir or Punaura Dham is a proposed grand temple of princess Sita in Mithila at her birthplace. The site is located at the Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district of Bihar in India. The site is considered as the appearance place from where Sita was found closed in a box from a farm field while the King Janaka was ploughing the farm field. Ramayana Research Council has proposed the construction of the world's tallest 251-feet statue of Mother Sita at Sitamarhi. There is a plan to build Janaki Dham in Sitamarhi on the lines of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. A grand campus known as Janaki Dham will be built on 57 acres of land near Punauradham. It is expected that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will laid the foundation stone of the Janaki Dham before upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. The foundation stone of the Janaki Janmasthali Mandir was laid by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar on 13 December 2023 at Punauradham in Sitamarhi, the place of manifestation of Goddess Janaki.

Abdul Malik is an Indian politician who served as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Ara Assembly constituency in 1995 being associated with the Janata Dal. He was made minister of Information and Broadcasting department.

Md Zabir Ansari is an Indian Karate player. He represents India in various Karate tournaments, across the globe. He won the bronze medal in 2022 and a gold medal in 2023 in the National Karate Competition organized by the Association of Indian Universities.
