Route 505 is a regional Israeli highway in the West Bank.
Until the 1990s, only Route 505 was considered the "Trans-Samaria Highway". Highway 5, which hadn't yet been upgraded to a highway, was a narrow, curved two-lane road that reached the Kassem junction and continued as a minimal two-lane road for 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the entrance to Kfar Kassem. At this point, the road (today's Highway 5) connected to the old Route 505, which crossed Kfar Kassem.
An early improvement was to extend and pave Route 5 along an additional 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) as a bypass road, which ended where the Sha'ar Shomron Interchange exists now. Eastward beyond that, the Trans-Samaria Highway was only Route 505. During the late 1990s and during the 2000s the National Roads Company of Israel continued to develop Route 5 as a two-lane highway in a new route south of Route 505 instead of upgrading the 505 route so that the two highways were parallel for a distance of about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi). Since November 2008, route 5 has ended at the Ariel junction, where it connects with Route 505 which continues as the "Trans-Samaria Highway" to the intersection with Highway 90 in the Petza'el intersection in the Jordan Valley.
In 2010 Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz ordered the planning for the route to connect the Gush Dan region with the Jordan Valley. [1]

Allon Road is the name given by Israel to Routes 458, 508, and 578 in the West Bank, running roughly south–north along the eastern watershed of the Judaean and Samarian Hills, between Highway 1 near Kfar Adumim east of Jerusalem and Highway 90 at Mehola in the central Jordan Valley.
Highway 5 or the Trans-Samaria Highway, is one of Israel's main highways, connecting the Mediterranean coast immediately north of Tel Aviv with the central Sharon plain and eastwards to Ariel and other Israeli settlements in the northern West Bank.
Highway 90 is the longest Israeli road, at about 480 kilometres (300 mi), and stretches from Metula and the northern border with Lebanon, along the western side of the Sea of Galilee, through the Jordan River Valley, along the Dead Sea's western bank, through the Arabah valley, and until Eilat and the southern border with Egypt on the Red Sea. The central section of the road traverses the Israeli-occupied West Bank. While it passes near the city of Jericho, it runs through Area C and does not enter areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority.
Highway 1 is the main highway in Israel, connecting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and continuing eastwards to the Jordan Valley in the West Bank.
Highway 2 is an Israeli highway located on the coastal plain of the Mediterranean Sea. It begins as a major arterial road within Tel Aviv, becoming a freeway as it exits the city northward, continuing to Haifa. North of Tel Aviv, the highway is also called The Coastal Highway.
Route 443 is also known as Ma'ale Beit Horon, following the ancient east-west trade route connecting the Via Maris and the Way of the Patriarchs. It is the main highway connecting Tel Aviv and Gush Dan with Jerusalem via Modi'in. While technically listed as a regional road, it is, for the most part, a divided, four-lane highway which utilizes some grade separation and interchanges, as well as major at-grade intersections, and thus is not classified as a motorway, even though there is a short motorway section on its western end, connecting it to westbound Highway 1.
Highway 3 is a highway in Israel. It begins at Highway 4 on the outskirts of Ashkelon, running east-northeast, passing through Kiryat Malakhi and Latrun, and ending just short of Modi'in.
Highway 7 is a highway in the South District of Israel from Ashdod to Yad Binyamin. It connects the Port of Ashdod with the Trans-Israel Highway.
Highway 10 is a road in the South District of Israel. It is one of the longest routes in Israel, extending for nearly the entire border of Israel with Egypt from the Gaza Strip in the north to Sayarim junction in the south. Under a military security advisory, its entire 113-mile length is almost permanently off-limits to civilian traffic.
Highway 31 is an inter-city highway in southern Israel. It begins at Lakiya Interchange with Highway 6 at Lakiya. It passes through Hura, Kuseife, Arad, and it terminates at Zohar Junction with Highway 90 south of Neve Zohar just west of the Dead Sea.
Highway 38 is an arterial road in the low plains of Judea in Israel. It serves as the main access route to Beit Shemesh and as a main north–south route in the region. Along the route are many nature preserves and archeological sites.
Highway 41 is an arterial road in south-central Israel. It connects Highway 4 and Highway 7 to the Port of Ashdod. The designation "41" also applied to the continuation of the road eastward to Gedera until that section of the road was upgraded and renamed "7".
Highway 92 is a north-south highway in northeastern Israel. It follows the eastern edge of the Kinneret from Ma'agan junction in the south at Highway 98 to Yehudiya junction in the north at Highway 87. It is 26.15 km long.
Highway 9 is an east-west limited-access expressway in Israel that opened to traffic on July 24, 2014.
Highway 71 is an east-west highway that passes through the eastern Jezreel Valley and the Beit She'an Valley, below the north slopes of the Gilboa mountains, in northern Israel. The road follows a path parallel to the Harod Creek in the Harod Valley and to the Jezreel Valley railway. It is 35 kilometres (22 mi) long and leads from Afula in the west, via Beit She'an, to the Jordan River Border Crossing in the east. The Navot interchange located approximately 10 km southeast of Afula provides a shortcut via Route 675 through the Ta'anakh region from Highway 71 and Beit She'an to Highway 65 and central Israel.
Route 899 is an east-west regional highway in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel. For almost its entire length of 63 km, it proceeds parallel to the nearby border between Israel and Lebanon. In Israel, Route 899 is commonly known as the "northern route".
Route 866 is a north-south regional highway in northern Israel. It begins at Hananya junction with Highway 85 in the south and ends at Meron junction with Highway 89 in the north.
Highway 45 is the official designation of a 3.3 km stretch of road forming a continuous connection between Route 443 from the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area and Highway 50 to central Jerusalem and a 1.4 km spur serving the Atarot Industrial Park.
Route 227 is a 34-kilometre (21 mi) road in the eastern Negev desert of Israel. It starts from an intersection with Route 206 in the northwest and ends in Ir Ovot in the southeast, intersecting with Highway 90. It has one at-grade intersection at 19 km. The original road was laid by British land surveyors in 1927. Prior to 1956, this was the primary route from Beersheba to Eilat.
Highway 333, also known as Ben-Gurion Boulevard, is a highway in West Jerusalem. It is the main entrance to the city through Givat Shaul. In the past, the road was part of Highway 1 until the opening of Yitzhak Shamir Road and the diverting of Highway 1 onto it. However, it is often colloquially still referred to as part of the Jerusalem–Tel Aviv Route.
