Faith Lutheran Church, formerly known as Salem Lutheran Church, is a historic church at 199 Granite Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The church was built in 1894 to serve a growing congregation of Scandinavians who had come to Quincy to work in its granite quarries. The stones for this granite Gothic Revival church building were hauled and dressed by members of the congregation. Its only major modification since its construction has been the addition of a chapel in 1914.
Old Salem Church and Cemetery is a historic Lutheran Church and adjacent cemetery located at Catonsville, Baltimore County, Maryland. The main part of the 1849 Gothic Revival church building is a three bay, irregular stone structure approximately 28 feet wide and 42 feet long. It features a gable roof, a short boxy steeple, an entrance porch at the front and an apse at the rear. The interior features a gallery and organ loft has the original tracker organ, which is still hand pumped by a wooden lever on the north side of the case. From early on, the ground to the south of the church was laid out as a cemetery. The church was founded by German Lutheran immigrants.

The Vikur Lutheran Church at Mountain is an historic Lutheran church building in Mountain, Pembina County, North Dakota. Built in 1885, it is the oldest Icelandic Lutheran church in the United States. The Gothic Revival wood-frame building was built in land donated in 1881 by the pastor Páll Thorláksson, who was influential in establishing the Icelandic American community in the area, and who died in 1882, before its construction. Most of the wood used to build Vikur Lutheran Church at Mountain came from the land owned by Friðbjörn Björnsson, who emigrated from Iceland in 1873, leaving from the farm Baldursheimur in Möðruvallaklaustur Parish, Eyjafjarðarsysla, and homesteaded east of Mountain on Cart Creek in 1881.

The district encompasses 508 contributing buildings and 7 contributing structures, in a predominantly residential section of Winston-Salem. It was a planned picturesque streetcar suburb developed at the turn of the 20th century. The buildings date from about 1887 to 1930, and include notable examples of Classical Revival, Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed H. D. Poindexter Houses and Zevely House.
