T. K. Viswanathan (born 14 October 1948) is the Secretary General [1] of the 15th Lok Sabha [2] and Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India, i.e. the House of the People in the Indian Parliament. As Secretary General, [3] he is also the Administrative head of the Secretariat of the Lok Sabha. The post of Secretary General is of the rank of the Cabinet Secretary in the Government of India, who is the senior most civil servant to the Indian Government. The incumbent to the post is appointed by the Speaker of Lok Sabha in consultation with the Prime Minister of India and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. As per precedence, incumbents to the post of Secretary General have either been senior officers in the Lok Sabha Secretariat or senior civil servants in the Government of India.
In 2017, Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri for his work in the field of literature & education. [4] [5]
The speaker of the Lok Sabha is the presiding officer and the highest authority of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India. The speaker is elected generally in the first meeting of the Lok Sabha following general elections. The speaker does not enjoy a security of tenure and his term is subjected to the pleasure of the house i.e. can be removed anytime by a resolution of the Lok Sabha by a majority of the all the then members of the house. The longest-serving speaker was Balram Jakhar, whose tenure lasted 9 years and 329 days.
Santosh Kumar Gangwar is an Indian politician currently serving as the Governor of Jharkhand. He is a former Minister of State with independent charge in the Ministry of Labour and Employment in the Government of India. He is a Member of Parliament, former minister of state in Government of India and a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has been Member of Parliament for the city of Bareilly since 1989 till date. He was also the chief whip of the party in 14th Lok Sabha. He faced defeat in the 15th Lok Sabha Elections, 2009 by a very narrow margin. Gangwar was the chairman of the PAC Public Accounts Committee (India) in 2009. He has been elected as Member of Parliament in 16th Lok Sabha. He won by a margin of over 2.4 lakh votes over his rival candidate in 2014 general election. He resigned from the post of cabinet minister ahead of the cabinet reshuffle in July 2021. He is formerly the Chairperson of the Committee on Public Undertakings.
Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra and formerly Minister of State in the Government of India and a member of the 17th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Akola constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) political party.

He was also a member of the National Commission to Review the Working of Constitution and chairman of its drafting and editorial committee.
Shri M.N. Kaul was Secretary of 1st Lok Sabha, 2nd Lok Sabha and Secretary-General of 3rd Lok Sabha. He was appointed Secretary of Lok Sabha Constituted after the First General Election of Lok Sabha in India. He retired on 31 August 1964 at the age of 63 and after 17 years of service as Secretary.

Hirendranath Mukhopadhyay, also known as Hiren Mukerjee, was an Indian politician, lawyer and academic.
