The TV channel is broadcast on the digital terrestrial network, officially from 06:30 to 19:30 (7:30pm), and was launched 1 December 2007. The NRK Super radio channel is broadcast on DAB radio 24/7 and on internet radio, and was originally named NRK Barn. It was launched on 16 October 2007.
