Ekambaresh Lakshmi Narayanan (born 1 November 1978), better known by his stage name Tippu, is an Indian playback singer who has performed several songs in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, languages.

In 2010, Tippu won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song "Hey Paaru" from the film Raaj the Showman composed by the top most composer of the Kannada Film Industry V. Harikrishna. [2] Tippu was awarded the Kalaimamani by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2007. [3]
