Wyandot County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 21,900. Its county seat is Upper Sandusky. It was named for the Wyandot Indians, who lived here before and after European encounter. Their autonym is variously translated from their language as "around the plains" and "dwellers on the peninsula". The county was organized by the state legislature from parts of Crawford, Marion, Hardin and Hancock counties on February 3, 1845.
Erie County is a county in the northern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 75,622. Its county seat and largest city is Sandusky. The county is named for the Erie tribe, whose name was their word for "wildcat". It was formed in 1838 from the northern third of Huron County and a portion of Sandusky County.

The Upper St. Clair School District is a K–12 public school district serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania suburb of Upper St. Clair. The district encompasses 9.83 mi2 (25.45 km2) and shares its boundaries with its namesake township. Upper Saint Clair School District features three elementary schools for grades K–4: Baker Elementary School, Eisenhower Elementary School, and Streams Elementary School. The district also includes two middle schools, Boyce Middle School and Fort Couch Middle School. The Upper Sandusky Reservation was home to many of the Wyandot from 1818–1842. It was the last Native American reservation in Ohio when it was dissolved, and was also the largest Native American reservation in Ohio, although up until 1817 most of Northwest Ohio had not been ceded to the United States government. The reservation was located at the great bend of the Sandusky River.
Tri-Rivers Career Center and Center for Adult Education is a public vocational school that provides career-technical training to high school students and adults in north-central Ohio.
