Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park is a California state park located in Napa County between St. Helena and Calistoga. The park is the site of a water-powered grist mill that was built in 1846 is one of only two water-driven mills remaining west of the Mississippi River.

The Delaware River and Wickecheoke Creek border the community. The Prallsville District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Sterling Grist Mill Complex is a historic grist mill complex located at Sterling in Cayuga County, New York. The complex consists of a frame mill building built about 1835, the rubble foundation of an 1859 tannery, and a dam and penstock built about 1900. The mill building is built with a hand-hewn heavy timber frame sheathed in narrow pine clapboard.
Harrison Grist Mill, also known as Morley Grist Mill, is a historic grist mill located at Morley in St. Lawrence County, New York. It was built about 1840 and is a rectangular random ashlar, cut sandstone building with a simple gable roof.
The Hildebrand Mill on Flint Creek in Colcord, Delaware County, Oklahoma was built c. 1845 and served hill people of the Old Cherokee Nation territory for more than 125 years. It is located not far from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
The Knabb-Bieber Mill is located in Oley Township, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1809 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 8, 1990.
Haviland-Davison Grist Mill is a historic grist mill located at East Rockaway in Nassau County, New York. It was restored and relocated to its present site in Memorial Park in 1963. It was built about 1689 and is a 2 1⁄2-story, "T" shaped, timber frame building. The original section has one large addition and two smaller wings attached to each side.
Hicks Lumber Company Store is a historic commercial building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1920 and is a two-story, frame building with Colonial Revival style detailing. It has a low-pitched hipped roof and projecting, two-story portico. The first story features original, projecting display windows.
Sugar Loaf Farm is an early 19th-century cluster of agricultural, industrial, and residential buildings located in a bucolic setting approximately 7.5 miles southwest of Staunton, Virginia and 1/2 mile southeast of Sugar Loaf Mountain. As a member of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, Sugar Loaf Farm maintains the only surviving brick grist mill in Augusta County, Virginia. The brick grist mill on the property combines the mechanical principles of Oliver Evans, a prominent mill designer of the late eighteenth century, with the engineering craftsmanship and building detail of molded brick cornices, a vernacular architecture in the upper Shenandoah Valley in the early 1800s. The Farm's three original buildings, the farmhouse, grist mill and miller's house, were all constructed by David Summer at a time when Augusta County had emerged as the center of one of the most dominant wheat-growing and flour-processing regions in the South. Sugar Loaf Farm serves as a valuable reminder of the wheat-based agriculture that persisted in this region well into the twentieth century. Today, Sugar Loaf Farm is a privately run farm that specializes in raising Black Angus cattle.
Evans-Mumbower Mill is a historic grist mill located on Wissahickon Creek in Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built 1835, and is a 3 1⁄2-story, banked-stucco-over-stone building with a two-story, wood-frame reproduction addition. It was in use as a mill until 1930. It housed an Oliver Evans milling system.
Jervis Gordon Grist Mill Historic District, also known as Milford Grist Mill and Rowe's Mill, is a historic grist mill and national historic district located at Milford, Pike County, Pennsylvania. The district includes three contributing buildings and one contributing structure. The buildings are a late-19th century grist mill, blacksmith complex, and millers house. The contributing structure consists of the mill pond, dam, head race, and tail race.
Great Valley Mill, also known as the Old Grist Mill in the Great Valley, is a historic grist mill located in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1859, and is a four-story, rectangular banked stuccoed fieldstone structure. It measures 42 feet (13 m) by 45.5 feet (13.9 m), and has a gable roof. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Benson Grist Mill is a restoration-replica museum located in Tooele County, Utah in the western United States, which allows visitors to see the inner workings of a latter-nineteenth-century pioneer gristmill. It has four other historic (nineteenth-century) buildings which have been moved onto the site, as well as four ancillary structures, including an open-air pavilion. It covers 6.98 acres along State Highway 138, 0.8 mile southwest of the intersection of the Road with State Highway 36. The museum is owned and operated by a division of Tooele County.
Breneman-Turner Mill is a historic grist mill located near Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built about 1800, and is a 2 1/2-story, Federal style brick building. The building retains its water wheel, measuring 16 feet in diameter and 5 feet wide, and three sets of burr stones. The mill survived General Philip Sheridan’s burning of the Shenandoah Valley in 1864, and remained in operation until 1988.
Clinch Valley Roller Mills is a historic grist mill complex located along the Clinch River at Cedar Bluff, Tazewell County, Virginia. The main building was built about 1856, and consists of a 3 1/2-story, timber frame cinder block with later 19th and early-20th century additions. There are additions for grain storage; a saw mill, now enclosed and housing the mill office; the mill dam site with its associated culvert, weirs, flume and turbines; and the 1 1/2-story shop building. The main section is believed to have been rebuilt after a fire in 1884.
Causey's Mill is a historic grist mill located in Causey's Mill Park at Newport News, Virginia. It was built in 1866, and is a small two-story wood-frame building originally supported by a brick and concrete foundation. It retains its original machinery and is one of the two last surviving grist mills on the Peninsula. The mill operated until nearly the 20th century. In 2011, the mill was moved about 75 feet from its original location away from the shore of the Mariners' Lake and set on a new foundation.
Senn's Grist Mill-Blacksmith Shop-Orange Crush Bottling Plant is a complex of historic commercial buildings located at Summerton, Clarendon County, South Carolina. The complex consists of three interconnected early-20th century buildings of similar size and construction. The grist mill was built about 1905, is an example of small independent grist mills that were commonplace in rural communities across the South. The blacksmith shop and bottling plant, built about 1921, are typical of early-20th century light industrial buildings. The complex supplied the local agricultural sector with essential goods and services for nearly a century.
The Dexter Grist Mill, now the Dexter Historical Society Museum, is a historic 19th-century industrial property in Dexter, Maine. Built in 1854, the mill was operated by a single family for over a century, and was converted to a museum in 1967. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
The East Vassalboro Grist and Saw Mill is a historic mill complex in East Vassalboro, Maine. Established in the late 18th century, it is one of the oldest water-powered mills in the state, with a working complement of grist and lumber milling equipment. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
The Hixson–Skinner Mill Complex, also known as Cole's Grist Mill Complex, encompasses a historic grist mill and two houses located where Still Valley Road crosses the Pohatcong Creek, about one half mile east of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1982 for its significance in commerce and industry. It includes 4 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures.
