It began its broadcast in February 28, 2022, when a group of mediamen led by Yes2Health CEO Dr. Remelito Y. Uy, took over the operations of RMCBC-owned DXDE in Tagum. This formed the nucleus of XFM until it transferred its base operations to DXSS in Davao City later that year. After its successful launch, XFM expanded into various markets across the country by the use of airtime lease management. [2] [3] [4]
