Ahmed competed at 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He holds the eleventh fastest 5000m time in history.

Rhonex Kipruto is a Kenyan long-distance runner. He is the 2018 10,000 metres world U20 champion and the 2019 10,000 metres world championships bronze medalist.
