Benjamin Richard Maher MBE is a British show jumper. He represented Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 European Championships in Windsor, 2012 London Olympics, 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He won the team jumping gold at the London Olympics with Team GB, their first team jumping gold medal for 60 years, and an individual gold for Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also won bronze at the 2011 Europeans Championships in Madrid, Spain. He has won many international Grand Prix, including the Olympia Grand Prix, the King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead and an FEI World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix at Wellington with various rides.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">London International Horse Show</span>

The London International Horse Show, formerly the Olympia London International Horse Show, is one of the UK's biggest equestrian competitions. It is best known as the host of the UK legs of the FEI World Cup series in dressage, show jumping and driving, however it also has multiple other showjumping classes, as well as fun competitions such as a Shetland pony race and a dog agility competition. Many competitions are broadcast live by the BBC, and all are streamed. The show is held over six days during the week preceding Christmas, and typically involves over 400 horses and ponies.

2020 in sports describes the year's events in world sport. Many sporting events around the world were postponed or cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, which eventually took place in 2021.

Daniel Bluman is an Olympic show jumping rider. Born in Colombia, he represents Israel internationally and competed for his country of birth in the past. Bluman qualified to represent Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, but did not compete due to a clerical error in his horse's registration. He was selected to represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in individual jumping and team jumping.

Ashlee Bond is an American-Israeli Olympic show jumping rider who competes for Israel. Born in the United States, she is an Israeli citizen. She represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, coming in 11th. Bond will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in both individual jumping and team jumping on 1-2 and 5-6 August 2024 at the Palace of Versailles.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Chiara 222</span> Holsteiner mare from Germany

Chiara 222 was a gray mare registered in the Holsteiner studbook and ridden in show jumping. This daughter of Contender was born in the Oldenburg region. After a successful debut under the saddle of Irish rider Cameron Hanley, she was snapped up by Germany's Ludger Beerbaum, with whom she won three silver medals, at the 2013 European Dressage and Show Jumping Team Championships, at the 2013-2014 Show Jumping World Cup Final as an individual, and then at the 2014 World Equestrian Games as a team. She was euthanized in April 2019, at the age of 16, following a bout of colic, without the possibility of retirement.
