The 2025 Vancouver Whitecaps FC season will be the club's fourteenth season in Major League Soccer, the top division of soccer in the United States and Canada. Including previous iterations of the franchise, this will be the 48th season of professional soccer being played in Vancouver under a variation of the "Whitecaps" name.
Having won the 2024 Canadian Championship, the Whitecaps will participate in the CONCACAF Champions League for a third consecutive season and fifth time overall. The Whitecaps will also participate in the 2025 Canadian Championship looking to win their fourth domestic cup championship in a row. They will also participate in the 2025 Leagues Cup.
On November 25, 2024, the Whitecaps parted ways with head coach Vanni Sartini. [1]

Division 1 professional soccer returned to Vancouver in 1974 with the Vancouver Whitecaps as interest began to grow in U.S. soccer, and the NASL grew after stabilizing in terms of attendance and number of teams with six to eight teams. In 1974 the Whitecaps were one of five expansion teams that were the first teams since 1968 west of Dallas, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri.
